Defending Principle for unit defending Progression 1
3 x Teams of 4 players - reds/Green/ BluesTeam Tasks - Prevent Reds from passing through to blue team -Ball must not leave the ground. Both Red and Blue teams are on 2touch.If Greens regain they return possession back to Red or Blues.Work for 1 minute then rotate the groups.1/ Unit shape and compactness2/ Deny passing lanes through and around.3/ Slide as possession is transfer between Red Players
Defending Principles (10 mins)
3 x Teams of 5 players - reds/Green/ BluesTeam Tasks - Prevent Reds from passing through to blue team -Ball must not leave the ground. Both Red and Blue teams are on 2touch.2 Yellow ( Defenders) can move into the attacking 1/3 to inititatethe high press.If Yellows regain they return possession back to Red or Blues.Work for 1 minute then rotate the groups.1/ Front 2 look to show into wide areas - 3 M/Fs look to screenpasses2/Unit shape and compactness3/ Deny passing lanes through and around.4/ Slide as possession is transfer between Red Players
