DEFENSIVE SHOTGUN OPERATOR
INTRODUCTION TO THE FIGHTING SHOTGUN
Objective: To enhance our students’ knowledge and proficiency with the tactical shotgun as a personal protection and home defense platform. This course will emphasize utilization of the shotgun in conjunction with the student’s primary sidearm in a two-gun package, in order to maximize defensive use-of-force options over a broad range of possible tactical scenarios. Students will gain confidence and proficiency by learning combat proven shooting techniques and manipulation skills. Our instructors draw upon their own experiences, and from historical examples, to prepare students to survive and prevail in lethal force encounters, through the effective implementation of the shotgun into their personal and home defense game plan.
Instructors: Active-duty/retired law enforcement officers/trainers with extensive teaching experience in civilian and L.E. communities. We guarantee low student/instructor ratios (four-to-one maximum) to enhance safety, quality of instruction and individual attention.
