FITZSIMONS MEDICAL CAMPUS

Fitzsimons is a 577-acre medical campus located in North Aurora. The facility is home to several healthcare and bioscience companies, including the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and the Fitzsimons Innovation Campus.

As part of the Fitzsimons campus, the Anschutz Medical Campus includes the University of Colorado Hospital, Children’s Hospital Colorado, VA Medical Center and six health professional schools.

Future additions will include a 30,000 sq. ft. conference center with 245 rooms, a mixed use development north of the conference center including housing for 460 units and 30,000 sq. ft of commercial and retail space, and mixed use housing of 393 units and 24,000 sq ft of commercial space that will be adjacent to the Colfax light rail station. Redevelopment of the near cultural arts district is also part of the vision including the addition of Stanley Marketplace, a mixed use building with concept similar to “The Source” in RiNo.

Anschutz Medical Campus ranks in the top 10 in the nation for various programs, including:
