Making an Impact for Veterans Please join the Deloitte Center for Leadership and Community for a full-day workshop that will inspire, educate and spark action to support the hiring of our Veterans. We invite you to participate in our Greenhouse - a lab space for the cultivation of ideas that will help accelerate breakthroughs. During this session we will discuss ways to support the men and women of our armed forces who have given so much of themselves, how we can help them return to a sense of normalcy, household stability and work life balance. After this workshop, we will walk away from this session with a deeper understanding and appreciation for the issues and obstacles facing our returning heroes and how we can: Understand the motivations and misperceptions that leads to ineffective hiring and retention practices Initiate effective programs Create an actionable plan to elevate your approach toward Veterans This Lab is right for you if you are a: HR professional focused on veterans, diversity and inclusion Business leader who wants to tap into the pool of highly motivated and skilled individuals returning from military service Non-profit that works with veterans to help them navigate the workforce Space is limited.
