1. CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION TO THE EASYBAT PUBLIC WEBSITE

Two websites have been created for the EASYBAT project, a public one and an internal one. The public website is specifically meant to generate public exposure for the EASYBAT project, while the internal website is a collaborative workspace in which the consortium partners post working documents and share information. This document describes the public website which is a deliverable of the EASYBAT project. This public website (www.easybat.eu) is available to the public since September 2011. Several domains have been registered (.eu, .info, .net), so that in case a user types in another address than www.easybat.eu an automatic redirection to the main website www.easybat.eu. takes place.

2. CHAPTER 2: PUBLIC WEBSITE

2.1 General The public website (www.easybat.eu) is a dedicating website presenting the EASYBAT project objectives, expected results, relevant links and the consortium partners. On this website the EASYBAT consortium will, during the course of the project, publish the EASYBAT results and related publications and announce workshop and seminars. The website facilitates the external exposure of the EASYBAT project to the general public and particularly to members of the European community. In addition, all consortium partners can be contacted through the website. As the means of communication of the EASYBAT project to the general public the website contains the following sections:

• EASYBAT HOMEPAGE - Project description as well as a brief description of the 7th Framework Programme

• EASYBAT WORKPLAN - Description of the several work packages and the respective objectives within the project

• EASYBAT RESULTS – Presentation of the project results • EASYBAT CALENDER – Announcement of events, workshops and seminars organized by

the EASYBAT consortium • EASYBAT PUBLICATIONS – EASYBAT Publications will be presented and updated during

the whole life of the project with the latest news and publications abut the EASYBAT project • EASYBAT PARTNERS – Summary and presentation of all partners participating in the

EASYBAT project • EASYBAT LINKS – Presentation of relevant links concerning the EASYBAT project • EASYBAT CONTACT US – Special contact form designed to send requests and inquiries

to the project group • EASYBAT IMPRINT – Description of the responsible parties for the public website, which

are Better Place (content) and TÜV Rheinland (Webmaster).




2.2 EASYBAT Public Website Screen Shots The following screenshots provide an overview of the EASYBAT public website at the latest status. EASYBAT HOMEPAGE The EASYBAT Homepage includes a summary of the EASYBAT project as well as a brief description of the Seventh Framework Programme.

EASYBAT WORKPLAN The EASYBAT Workplan includes a summary of all work packages within the EASYBAT project describing the objectives and the work package leaders. Each work package has a separate section. The respective work package leader is linked with the own website of the company.

EASYBAT RESULTS The EASYBAT Results section will contain relevant information on the expected project results.

EASYBAT CALENDAR This section deals with the announcement of seminars, meetings and workshops of the EASYBAT consortium. Relevant dates are linked with documents and publications within the public website. Further, an archive is available for the past months.

EASYBAT PUBLICATIONS The EASYBAT Publications page will contain all the press releases and publications about the EASYBAT project.

EASYBAT PARTNERS The EASYBAT Partners page includes a summary of all consortium partners as well as the company profiles of each of the EASYBAT partners and links to the own website of the participants. On the right hand corner there is a contact card with each contact person. Partner profiles are ordered alphabetically.

3. ADMINISTRATION

The EASYBAT public website has been created by TÜV Rheinland and will be managed by Better Place and TÜV Rheinland. In the course of the project time Better Place will be responsible for the content supply, TÜV Rheinland will be responsible for the content management and the website operation. The content of the website will be updated according to the developments of the project. As some of the information and research within the EASYBAT project is potentially sensitive, strict control measures have been put in place to ensure that only non-sensitive information will be released to the general public.
