Key Personnel Bios Managing Director, Landscape Architect and Urban Designer Ashley Sutch AAILA Since 1990 Ashley has had a leading role in the concept planning and landscape design for many prestigious Five Star Hotel Resort Projects and Residential Communities throughout the Asian region and the US with SALA and in his former role as lead design with the SWA group. These include Six Senses Spa and Resorts in India, Sheraton Hotels in Vietnam, Master planning for Club Med in Phuket, Dusit Samui with WATG, and Westin Hotel in Maui, Hawaii with WCIT. Ashley has been involved in a number of Greg Norman and Graham Marsh designed golf courses around the world. Ashley has a strong design flair and proven expertise in landscape architecture and detailed design for residential landscapes, with a specialty in technical detailing and design. Ashley previous horticultural experience with Birkdale International has given him a solid knowledge of plant selection and exporting species to the region which is reflected in his excellent ward winning planting designs. Director, Landscape Architect and Urban Designer Scott Dyde ALI An experienced Landscape Architect is available to attend project meetings, presentations and site visits. With substantial experience working in the USA, UK, Phuket, Vietnam, India and Southern China Scott has been responsible for overseeing the design development and construction documentation of projects with local consultants and contracts. Together with his local support team Scott has effectively communicated and successfully implemented a number of well received projects for prestigious clients. These include Vanke East Coast Residences with WATG, Repulse Bay residences in Shenzhen, the Miora resort, Kalim, Phuket, and master planning on the Tai Muang Golf residential development. . 7. 10. Resources

Our team has very capable landscape trained staff and CAD support in all of our offices. At our main design centre in Singapore we have highly trained staff to support our projects worldwide, not to mention our strategically located office in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. We have access to some of the latest GIS technology using ARCVIEW and embrace graphics and3D Modeling software such as SKETCH UP, ADOBE products and are proficient supplying high quality 3D renderings, animations, physical models and multimedia productions if required. We are involved in all aspects of design from schematic design to construction phases to ensure design consistency and high quality outcomes.

We have our own Horticulturalist on staff that can assist with Tree Procurement from Thailand, China and Malaysia to ensure the best quality plant stock for your project. We export quality tree stock and provide advice on setting up site nurseries to projects all around the world.

Professional Experience Since 1992 Ashley has had a leading role in the concept planning master planning and urban design for many prestigious Urban, Mixed use, Resort Residential Communities throughout the Asian region and the US. These include broad scale master planning such as The Ripley Valley Community Master plan and Queensland, Dameisha Town Centre and Citic new town in Chengdu, China. Ashley has proven expertise in executing such projects from concept to built works with a specialty in waterfront urban design, both public and private such as the Rockwell Centre in the Philippines and Cairns Esplanade in Queensland Australia. As an Urban Design and Landscape Architect Ashley has a passion for the landscape and extensive horticultural experience with Birkdale International has given him a solid knowledge of tropical and arid plant species which is reflected in his excellent ward winning planting designs for resorts, hotels and residential communities.

Formerly a principal of Tract consultants in Brisbane Australia, Ashley has spent a number of years with the SWA Group in the USA and was been pivotal in the development of the firms mainland China market through the implementation of projects in Zhuhai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Shanghai. In 1997 Ashley was appointed Landscape Project Manager for Rockwell Land Corporation, a leading urban land development company in the Philippines and in 1994 an Associate Landscape Architect at Hassell, Queensland (Multi-disciplinary design firm consisting of Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Interior Design and Planning). During this time he has been exposed to many facets of landscape architecture, master planning and urban design. Ashley has specialist expertise in hard landscape, resort / residential design and broad scale master planning with a focus on tourist and waterfront orientated projects. He has particular aptitude to horticulture and planting design and is constantly seeking to find new and innovative ways to use plants in the natural and built landscape.

Professional Experience Scott’s international experience has given him a diverse understanding of environmental design strategies across all scales and aspects of the profession. His designed works range from small intricate detailing of site furnishings to the planning and design of large tracts of land that span several kilometers.

‘The shifts in scale between the micro and macro are exciting, at the core of everyone project is the design process which draws together a creative group of people that can achieve the clients brief and deliver an innovative design solution that is geographically and culturally responsive’ says Scott.

Much of Scotts work is managed and produced using the latest computer applications and new technologies which allows him to manage inter-office communication, data collaboration and design workflow between personnel, clients and design collaborators. ‘We pride ourselves on meeting deadlines with a high quality, innovative product that goes beyond our client’s expectations’.
