The tool is easy to use with a series of simple-to-follow basic or advanced interview

questions through an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI). Plus, reboots are

minimized for faster deployment. DSA delivers quick deployment capabilities enabling

you to quickly set up new servers or rebuild downed systems. It also includes

replication abilities to help you automatically deploy multiple identical servers.

DSA features increased platform, operating system and browser support over the

previous version, including 9th generation PowerEdge™ server platforms, VMware®

ESX Server™ 3.0 and Windows® Storage Server.™

DSA can help to significantly reduce operating system installation time. It can

automatically detect RAID and Network Interface Cards on the server and load the

correct drivers during operating system installation. As a result, you don’t need to

supply driver diskettes or know the server hardware configurations.

Dell Deployment Toolkit

If you need to deploy large numbers of servers, the Dell™ Deployment Toolkit provides a suite of utilities that help you quickly, consistently and cost-effectively configure

all hardware options on multiple servers. Delivering replicated deployment capabilities is ideal for scripted multi-system pre-operating system hardware configuration

and remote server deployment or re-provisioning. The Dell Deployment Toolkit enhances multi-system deployment efficiency and reduces the potential for errors. The

toolkit also comes with best practices and script templates to further streamline your deployment process.

The Dell Deployment Toolkit, delivers pre-boot operating system support for added flexibility. The toolkit now works with either WindowsPE or embedded

Linux® environments.

With this toolkit, you can control a large number of deployments, including deploying operating systems, controlling system boots and tracking the state of each

machine. In addition to collecting system information, you can perform, RAID, and DRAC (Dell’s remote access controller) updates and configuration. Plus, the toolkit

enables you to easily and automatically create disk partitions. The Dell Deployment Toolkit allows you to replicate one consistent process to automatically install, set

up and configure your entire data center.
