Just one call to his stock broker and setting its upper (selling rate) and Lower (Buying Rate), and you can be an active participant of whole basket of 50 stocks in NIFTY and manage to earn 3-4% return on invest-ment per month. Continuing for two years, this strat-egy would help you to collect three-four dozen of Nifty Bees, which will be free of cost, which whenev-er required, you can cash on in market trading hours. Let us understand why one need to choose Nifty Bees ( ETF) for investment purpose, how can one be active participant without looking at stock market prices and its every second movement, and what strategy to be adopted for this successful creation of
wealth with highly risky market environment and dull macro-economic pictures.
Why go for Indices:
Let us first consider why an investor should invest in the BSE Sensex or the Nifty, especially when their movements are influenced so strongly by develop-ments in the corporate world, macro economy, even political events. The indices are tracked widely and are impacted by the central bank actions and global
stock markets, bond markets and oil prices or cur-rency markets. The fact that event-specific trig-gers can affect the broader market is an oppor-tunity that smart investors can capitalize on. For instance, an extension of tax holiday to the IT sec-tor will be a positive trigger for the BSE IT or CNX IT index. A single company may or may not re-spond to such triggers, but the sector will. Simi-larly, the presentation of Union budget will influ-ence the Sensex and the Nifty. One bad news will plunge a script to 10-15% in fraction of seconds, but other scripts will kip index insulated to news. Holding broader indices in the portfolio allows one to exploit profitable opportunities offered by the asset markets. .
What is ETF:
ETFs are mutual fund schemes and, like stocks, they are listed and traded on the stock exchang-es. The prices of such funds are valued continu-ously and can be purchased/ sold throughout the trading day. This flexibility in buying and selling allows investors to take advantage of the intra-day price movements. In comparison, those in-vesting in a traditional mutual fund can purchase units only at the fund's NAV, which is published at the end of each trading day. The trading and settlement mechanism of ETFs is similar to that of a regular equity share. Their trading prices are very close to their NAVs, unlike the substantial premiums/ discounts associated, due to Expected Dividend payout. In India, ETFs are currently available in equities, money market instruments (known as liquid ETFs) and gold. Equity ETF is a basket of stocks, which reflects the composition of an index, say, the S&P CNX Nifty or the BSE Sensex. The ETF's trading value is based on the net asset value of the underlying stocks that it
6

represents. It is priced at one-tenth the respective index value. So, if the index is trading at 4300, its ETF will be priced at Rs 430.
How and Where for ETF:
Now as we have understood the importance of investing in Indices-ETF, let’s look upon what strat-
egy can make for this sustainable wealth creation;
You need to have normal trading and DMAT ac-count with any registered broker, and you need to invest in Goldman Sachs Nifty Ex-change Traded Scheme (GS Nifty BeES) – dominant player in ETF seg-ment of India. The investment objec-tive of GS Nifty BeES is to provide investment re-turns that, before expenses, closely correspond to the total returns of the securities as represented by the S&P CNX Nifty Index. GS Nifty BeES have 99.84% securities covered by S&P CNX Nifty Index, priced at 1/10th of it. It can be bought in mul-tiples of one,

same like that of any shares of company. Vishal Jain is the manager of this scheme, with total experience of 15yrs. Listed NSE symbol: NIFTYBEES: INF732E01011 Strategies: Participating in Movement of Market You can create a Financial model with its basic Excel skills, which updates regularly. Being an In-dex pegged fund, GS Nifty BeES movement is re-stricted to movement of S&P CNX Nifty, Index of India. So far, index has 10% and 15% lower circuit once in Jan’08 in whole last decade. This makes sure that index movement is always in range for a particular day. On the basis on prev. closing price, next range is decided (Lower Limit for buying – Upper limit for Selling) Example: If Nifty closing price is 4995, then GS BeES should be at 495.95, considering this, if you feel nifty movement in gaps of 50, 100, 150, 200..( on both sides), 1st buy-ing point for Nifty BeES would be 495.95(cmp)–5(movement of BeES)= 494.95 and 1st selling point 495.5+5=499.95, so in this way, he participates in bear market and bull market.
Greatest Advantage of this strategy: It keeps you away with “Market Syndrome” i.e. research says, sentiments are high when market is booming up, i.e. people buy when prices are shooting up, and they tend to be upset, when market falls, thus falling in “Market Trap”. In this strategy, you sell when market is rising and buy when market falls, thus kipping you cash rich for bargain hunting, as you have sold in upper levels. Historical Data speaks for it: If you would have not adopted the strategy, and would have just invested in GS Nifty BeES on in-ception of this fund, he would have earned CAGR 18.31% or Rs. 58,514 on investment of Rs. 10,000. Below table shows how GS Nifty BeES have out-performed Nifty Benchmark
For all youths of india, who would just start with initial pays and small savings, need to understand the new mechanisms of ETF – next safe invest-ment heavens of india and not carried away by speculations for easy money play in stock market. Understand and Invest Wisely, and you will surely be future:

Deliver me from the pangs of life, the painful shard
Call me backstage oh my lord
Persistent failure, my only experience
Utter hopelessness without deviance
Disgust I feel when I look back
With a combination of bleak future in black
You sit and watch the drama unfold
Slowly as you poison my hold
To see me suffer you probably like
A lost smile and countenance ghost like
And I thought inside me you dwell
When you push me to fires of hell
My life is a living obituary in abyss low
And I hope you enjoy the show
Where are you when I shout for help?
Crying and weeping like a whelp
When every smile is a borrowed one
And every drag a punishment
I can’t feel your presence
Like an orphan with a lost essence
I am tired of life my beloved lord
Please have mercy and take me to
the last resort
Call me back-stage my lord
(To which the lord replies)
Only cowards leave the field in mid-fight
And you are not that, my delight
Understand your confessed father
And life will be free from bother
Don’t you dare question my love
It pains me more to see you suffer
Good or bad whatever life is
I want you to be supreme bliss
You are sacred to me as I am to you
My best creation I am but you
Please pardon the injustice of life
I would die if, my son, you forget me
I want you to be backstage
So that I can have your love
The joy of our meeting, the happiest state
Don’t you know I am thine
But your role, the grand one, remains incomplete
Come to me after living life as an honorable feat
And with fanfare and open arms, backstage I shall welcome you
Nothing will please your father more than to hug you
Recognize the power that is inherent within
Like thousand suns blazing in a kiln
Be mighty of deed and deep of love
Oh son of god rise above Kunwar Singh Thakur

Is there a company so large that it has its
own army? Can a company have its own
foreign policy? Can profit be the only mo-
tive for a company and nothing else? The
closest answer you get to all these ques-
tions is Exxon Mobil, which according to
the Daily telegraph has become one of
the planet’s most hated corporations,
able to determine American foreign poli-
cy and the fate of entire nations. It also
has a very bad environmental record. But
it’s also one of the most profitable com-
panies in the world and is the biggest
company in the world with the market
cap of around $450 billion. But the largest
company in the world is actually just a
small part of original parent company
Standard Oil Co. Founded by J D Rockefel-
ler in 1870 based in Texas. This was such
a huge company that it made Rockefeller
the first billionaire in history. This compa-
ny became so huge in size that due to
public outcry the Supreme Court in a rul-
ing broke the company into 34 pieces;
Today’s Exxon Mobil is just one of them.
There’s a famous saying that wherever
there’s oil, there are Americans. Exxon
Mobil did that job for the nation till 1990.
It acquired strategically important foreign
oil reserves and made sure that Ameri-
cans get cheap oil. But after 1990, due to
nationalization wave in Middle-East and
Latin America, the company had to move
third and fourth world countries for oil.
Small in size and politically unstable these
countries depend big time on the royalty
company pays them. Now the company
can overthrow governments and dicta-
tors at their will and that may or may not
serve national interest but the company
doesn’t care about that.
Company’s former CEO Lee Raymond had
once famously said that I don’t run a US
company and I don’t make decisions
based on
what’s good
for the U.S.
You’d expect
a Big Oil
chieftain to
be ruthlessly
profit-
minded, but
to the point
of putting
profits ahead
of country?
10
1111
Too much isn’t it? Under Raymond, Exxon
became a private empire, a
‘state within a state’. The com-
pany only cares for its share-
holders and nothing else. A
1999 cable from the United
States Embassy in Chad noted
that Exxon was ignoring Ameri-
can diplomats there. He then
asks: “And why should it be
other-wise? Exxon Mobil’s in-
vestments in the Chad-
Cameroon oil project would
amount to $4.2 billion. Annual aid to Chad
from the United States was only about
$3 million.”
Exxon Mobil’s foreign policy, orchestrated
by a political division including National Se-
curity Council and State Department alumni,
sometimes coincides with that of the United
States, and sometimes diverges.
Exxon Mobil has its own armies — and, in
these days of outsourcing, also hires those
of others. In Chad, its 2,500 security men
patrolled the countryside in white radio-
equipped S.U.V.’s, watching for guerrillas as
the company set up an intelligence opera-
tion bigger and better than the -local C.I.A.
station. In the war-
racked Niger Delta,
it gave boats to the
Nigerian Navy, de-
ployed its own ves-
sels at sea to scout
for pirates. Now
after reading all
these if you think
Exxon is truly evil
then wait there’s
more. The compa-
ny doesn’t believe in global warming and
spends money to lobby against green organ-
izations. They also don’t employ people
from LGBT community.
Even East India Co. was under the control of
British Empire but apparently no one can
control Exxon, not even the most powerful
nation in the world, USA. All this gives us
something to think about. Imagine a world
ruled not by nations, but by huge corpora-
tions like Exxon, IBM, BP and even our very
own RIL and TATA’s .Where these compa-
nies have their own armies and foreign poli-
cies and are not bound by national bounda-
ries or interest. Manipulating politicians and
bureaucrats, changing country heads at
their will. Controlling governments including
their own. Driven only by profits and share-
holder’s interest in their mind .Doing what
everyone in business should do i.e. business
and nothing else .No CSR, no PR. No ethics
only profits. Capitalism in its most true and
purest form.

requires a lot of conviction and courage to say something like this fearlessly in public.
An activist turned politician knows how to use new age media to reach people at a place where majority of them spend their productive time. He has left no stone unturned when it comes to us-ing social media to spread awareness. His style of spreading awareness is completely different. He is not as calm as Anna Hazare nor he is as humble as Gandhiji, he is ruthless, he exposed the key people and provoked country to think about it.
In a country like India where votes are casted de-pending on monetary and religious views, it is very important to provoke intellectual population to vote. Yes, it’s a matter of fact that in India, pol-iticians have been cashing on illiterate, poor and ignorant vote banks as educated people are less likely to vote. It’s very essential to make this ed-ucated population realize importance of their votes. That’s what exactly Mr. Kejriwal is doing.
One of the most active profiles on Facebook run in the name of India Against Corruption. (Refer image below). It is one of the most powerful me-dium used by Kejriwal and team to reach social media enthusiasts. They have used the power of Facebook to the fullest, they have also organized many campaigns and rallies, planning of which was communicated to people via this profile.
This fan page of IAC has more than 7,33,000 fol-lowers.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win
– Mahatma Gandhi
Arvind Kejriwal personifies this quote. Arvind Ke-jriwal, an Indian social activist working under the banner India Against Corruption is reaching every household of this country via conventional and unconventional media. After being awarded Ra-mon Magsaysay Award for Emergent Leadership in 2006, for activating India’s Right to Infor-mation movement at grassroots and fearlessly working with Team Anna, he truly came up as a hero in recent times.
After his separation from Team Anna, his move-ments have taken an unstoppable boost. He has emerged as Julian Assange of a nation which doesn’t have transparency at all in governance. He is making headlines since his press conference exposing a nexus between realty firm DLF and Robert Vadra (son in law of Sonia Gandhi). He accused Mr. Vadra of taking an interest-free loan of Rs. 65 crores and heavy bargains on land from DLF Limited in exchange for political favors.
He also exposed Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid over financial irregularities in function-ing of Zakir Hussain Memorial Trust. He didn’t stop there, after exposing key people in UPA, he targeted NDA. He alleged that Nitin Gadkari’s (President of BJP) factories have robbed the farmers of Vidarbha in Maharashtra of their land and water.
He didn’t stop again, he has unbelievable cour-age to target the richest and probably the most powerful man in the country. He alleged that it was Mukesh Ambani whose intervention resulted in removal of Jaipal Reddy as petroleum minister to satisfy his corporate motive of a rise in LPG price. He also said, “This country is run by Mukesh Ambani and not congress, both BJP and Congress are in Mukesh Ambani’s pockets.” It

all the tweets having above 5 hash tags were talking about Arvind Kejriwal’s message. All the-se tweets were directly or indirectly talking about UPA’s inefficiency, corrupt political system, cor-rupt parties and corporates taking undue ad-vantage of power. The message was conveyed. He uses Social Media very wisely. You just need to kick-start a movement on social media and then it goes viral like anything.
Twitter and Facebook are not enough, you name it and Kejriwal is there. I recently visited QUORA where I saw questions and answers regarding Kejriwal and IAC. Every day millions of articles about Kejriwal are written on thousands of web-sites . These articles are also shared on social me-dia platforms. The game is completely in Kejriwal’s favor when it comes to communicating through online media.
In nutshell, Mr. Kejriwal rules social media as a social activist.
According to Facebook data, an average person on Facebook has 130 friends, if we calculate the viral effect of this fan page, they have been able to reach minimum 9,52,90,000 people. They don’t have to spend any amount to reach these fans again and again, once they like the page, they are permanent members of this community. Especially when such sensitive issues are most talked about in news papers and news channels, posts upload-ed by such social community online are most likely to be shared by people. Power of a “share” is un-believable. If a person with 1,000 friends on Face-book shares an update of your page, that update will be visible to those 1,000 friends. Now likeli-hood of these 1,000 people sharing and liking this update is also high in such sensitive scenario. That way the post updated by a page reaches to mil-lions of people whether they have liked the page or not. This is the power of Viral Marketing.
Now coming to Twitter: Mr. Kejriwal has always been one of the most discussed topics on twitter in India.
Every second, lakhs of tweets having a hash tag #Kejriwal are being tweeted. This keyword is really earning high value on social media. He enjoys 1,38,500+ followers on twitter but that matters the least if you look at the no. of tweets concern-ing Mr. Kejriwal are being tweeted. Today, when I logged in to twitter, out of 10 most discussed top-ics, 5 were somewhere related to Kejriwal.
1. Kejriwal
2. RIL
3. Prashant Bhushan
4. IAC
5. Mukesh Ambani.
Yes, all these topics came up only after Arvind Ke-jriwal’s allegations on Mukesh Ambani. Indirectly

India - World’s Second fastest growing Economy poised to become World’s Economic Superpower and World’s 2nd largest economy by 2050 after China but is our Economy all healthy from inside and is Indian Growth Story still relevant or do we deserve a rate cut by credit rating agencies? The-se questions will be answered when we discuss Good, Bad and Ugly features of our Economy.
GOOD:
India’s biggest advantage is its De-mographics, Population of over 1.2 Bil-lion, having big appetite of consumption which helps Indian companies to depend internally for growth in future, as corpo-rate across the globe are searching for new markets and Indian markets are still unexplored.
India has the largest and youngest working population and it will not face ageing problem which Japan and other countries are facing till 2060, which means we have enough potential to be a Superpower and more importantly this resource is qualitative resource as said by President of USA Mr. Obama recently that ‘Jobs will follow where talent is, Kolkata or Cleve-land.’
India has reserves of rich natural resources like coal, iron ore and other minerals which are helping our economy to a very large extent.
One more important benefit is that bottom of the pyramid is still relatively unex-plored and this section, be it rural or ur-ban not only are getting educated but also are spending and saving.
Indians are Savers; for more than a decade, India’s saving rate has been more than 30% which means high capital formation, though it is not sufficient for growth that it wants to achieve.
1515
affect India’s economy for many years.
UGLY
India’s biggest problem is regulatory bottle-necks. Even though government has made liberalized industry, setting up and doing business in India is very difficult as compared to other countries. License raj may have gone but Babu (Bureaucrats) Raj is still prevalent.
More than Administrative bottleneck we have lack of political support, and corruption adds to the economic woes. In this cor-rupt environment, crony capitalism sur-vives but Market economy dies.
India has 60% of population dependent on Agriculture but almost 60% of GDP comes from Service sector thus it gives con-flicting signals to policymakers and inves-tors as to which sector needs to be given more preference.
Conclusion:
Indian growth story may have many problems and rating agencies have many serious doubts but the fact that we have potential to be an eco-nomic superpower needs to be understood by the West and we Indians should not think that we are the best and we will rule the world in the next few decades but we need to work harder to end all the problems to be an ideal self sufficient nation rather than just an economic superpower.
BAD
Indian Economy is too dependent on Service sector which contributes 2/3rd of the GDP, Service sector which is the fastest grow-ing sector is one of the reasons for India’s growth story, but now we are becoming a service Economy and dependence on any one sector is not good for any country. If this trend continues, our country will be more vulnerable economically as we will actually produce nothing tangible and ser-vices is a product which is perishable so we can’t store it or even sell it at a lower price.
Second most important problem is Infrastruc-ture. We don’t have enough roads, rail-ways or ports and whatever little infra-structure we have, it is not of good quali-ty and this creates problems for develop-ment as goods are not transported on time, people can’t move easily from one place to another, according to an esti-mate India needs $1 trillion in next five years to have minimum infrastructure standard to sustain development and problem is Indian government does not have enough money to fund this need.
Our Tax system is so confusing and also differentiated as each state government has different tax system, different way of calculation and also same goods maybe taxed heavily in one state and will be sub-sidized in another, like for E.g. most of the states have levied 20-25% taxes on Petrol and Diesel which is quite high and on same petrol and diesel only 0.01% tax is levied in Goa. This creates problems in free market economy.
Also, we are over dependent on monsoons and it significantly determines our GDP growth rate, and one bad monsoon can

and impulse buying categories have registered a dis-tinct uptrend. Hosahalli said that the priorities of low-income, mid-dle-income and high-income consumers are distinct in combating inflation. The low-income group's focus is 'How do I survive?' The middle-income group's is 'How do I balance?' And the high-income group's fo-cus is 'How do I sustain?' But the budgets of all three groups have been reallocated; expenses on eating out, out-of-home entertainment and vacations have been reduced. Innovation Is Essential There is an opportunity for marketers to target the customers on increased consumption occasions, Ho-sahalli added. Another way is to innovate on package sizes and price. Samudra Bhattacharya, sales head of PepsiCo India, pointed out that PepsiCo had in-troduced smaller sizes in its portfolio at the "magic price point" of Rs. 10 (20 U.S. cents). These had done
very well, he said. He gave other ex-amples -- Tata Gluco, a glucose-based beverage, which sells at 10 U.S. cents for 350 milliliters, and Kurkure Masala
Inflation has become the biggest worry confronting India's government, its people and its corpo-rate environment today. The government is rolling out measures -- essentially interest rate hikes -- albe-it without much effect. The people are tightening their belts and reworking household budgets. Com-panies are evolving innovative strategies and have met with some success. Inflation and its impact on consumer spending and corporate marketing was the subject of a Nielsen In-dia conference titled, "Consumer 360 India," held in Delhi in November. Nielsen is a global information and measurement company. While the conference didn't -- and couldn't -- address the core problem of inflation, it did offer some solutions from a corporate strategy perspective. The size of the problem is indeed daunting. Ruling at more than 9% since July 2009, inflation has forced the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to raise interest rates 13 times over the past 20 months. The cumulative increase is 5.25%. The high interest rates have forced corporate India to slow down capital investment plans, which doesn't bode well for near-term and future growth. In the just-announced second quarter (July-September) results, some companies have re-ported reduced profits. Others have slipped into the red. Household spending also has been hit. But Raj Ho-sahalli, executive director of Nielsen India, said both consumers and companies have changed their strategies to cope with the times. "The Indian consumer has always been value con-scious," Hosahalli noted. "Companies in the FMCG *fast-moving consumer goods+ sector will have to redraw marketing and pricing strategies in both rural and urban areas to sus-tain consumer in-terest." The good news for the FMCG sector is that while non-essential ex-penses have been curtailed, grocery sales have not been impacted,

sales are now estimated at US$12 billion and are ex-pected to reach US$100 billion by 2025. There are several wrong notions surrounding the ru-ral markets, conference speakers noted. "Contrary to the myth that rural Indians prefer small packs and sachets, the consumers there actually prefer the large packs, *which+ offer value for money," said Prashant Singh, vice president of Nielsen India. Addi-
tionally, companies that have worked alongside rural consumers to lend them support beyond the sale
of their prod-ucts have per-formed better. "Rural India pre-sents a great opportunity," added Vikram Khosla head of sales (food) at tobacco-to-FMCG major ITC.
One Size Doesn’t Fit All However, not all categories are alike. A Nielsen analysis of 100 new launches shows that the growth
curve is different across categories, said Acharya. New launches in the impulse food category have a shorter purchase cycle and typically generate higher interest among consumers. They reach their point of maxima fastest -- in as little as three-four months. Loyalty plays a big part in personal care products as consumers are less willing to switch brands. They could take 24 months to peak. Household care prod-ucts reach their maxima somewhere in between as these products are driven largely by benefits rather than emotion. Based on Nielsen research, explained Acharya, there are 12 things that every new product must do to suc-ceed. These are: offer true innovation; get noticed; land your message; communicate with focus; be rele-vant; be better; be credible; limit the battles; be in the right places; win the value equation; deliver on product promises; and be strong in the long run.
Balls, a snack food that sells at four U.S. cents for 10 grams. Earlier, delivering the conference's keynote address, Arun Maira, a member of the Planning Commission of India, noted that business could be the agent for change. India needs to help bridge the chasm be-tween those who have and those who don't. "India is a very large market with some very poor people," he said. It is necessary for business to come up with innovative business models to cater to the very poor, he added. Social Media Means Listening Another debate at the conference centered on social media. Few have managed to tap it properly, noted Anupama Ahluwalia, chief marketing officer of Coca-Cola India. "Social media is an interesting two-way medium that we are all trying to figure
out," she said. "Yes, most brands
today have a Facebook page. But how to use that page effectively is something entirely different." Kirthiga Reddy, head of Facebook India, cited Starbucks and Huggies Nappy Care as examples of brands that have leveraged social media successfully. "The key to tapping social media effec-tively is to listen to consumers instead of
asking them questions, as they are already talking about your brand," said Farshad Family, Nielsen man-aging director (media), India region. "You must then make them feel special." Another challenge for mar-keters is offering social media applications for mobile phones. Research shows that customer behavior on mobile phones is distinct from that on the personal computer. According to a Nielsen study, by the end of 2012, more people will use mobile over the PC for social networking. Another big discussion of the day centered on rural markets. Urban may be where the action is, but rural has the volume. It has 69% of India's total popula-tion with 56% of the country's income. But brand-ed FMCG penetration is only 34%. Rural FMCG

-- Social Media SafetySocial Media Safety
Do you fear while using social media or mails
from another PC?
Today after reading this article I am sure you
will no longer be worried and won’t create loopholes
for others to hack your account.
Social media has now become a major part
of our lifestyles and hence we must protect our ac-
count from being hacked and hence the security is
now a major issue
Whenever you login from
any other Laptop/Computer
(generally done by college
students in labs) keep these
important points in mind:
While entering your email
id and password make sure the box “keep me signed
in” is not ticked.
Never ever forget to logout, closing the win-
dow is not the correct option. Even if you close the
window without logging out anyone can access your
account from that machine.
If you click on logout and your network goes
off and you need to move from that place, try getting
the network and logout or better change your pass-
word since afterwards someone can access your ac-
count from that public computer
Never click on any suspected links when your
Facebook is logged in since it can spam your Face-
book. Go to that link right click and select “ open link
in new incognito window” If you are using Google
chrome else ignore your temptation for such un-
known links
Use “Ctrl+shift+N“ and a new incognito win-
dow will open which doesn’t save your personal stuff,
cookies, password, history etc and hence while using
a public computer prefer using Google Chrome
It is important to protect your Gmail/Yahoo
a/c with which you link your social media, because if
anyone has the password- they can go to Facebook,
click on forgot password and get a new password and
enjoy your profile ( Ensure Gmail/Yahoo password
and security questions are safe and tough to guess)
For Facebook : go to settings ( next to home)
–account settings—security settings (left hand side) –
login notification—enable( tick on mobile/push and/
or email)
*Refer below image+
2121
Next time you login to your Facebook a/c, it
will give you an option to save the device ( do it for
the devices you use frequently) else click on don’t
save and you will get an SMS, immediately
So if anyone logs in without your consent
you will get an SMS and you can immediately login
and change your password
*Refer below image+
After doing this, to verify you can go back to
settings and see and change at any point of time your
recognized devices
*Refer below image+
Also in some computers there can be a key
logger software or a hardware attached which records
the sequence of your keystrokes
For e.g.: if you enter abcd@abc followed by
1234 it’s very easy to hack your account in such cases
To avoid such smart brains , be even smarter.
Go to windows icon and search for “on Screen key-
board”
Finally, avoid using social media or mails
through other’s smart phones because
there are Smart phones wherein you
can automatically store all the email
ids and passwords being entered
Tech Tip:
Do keep changing your passwords
regularly and do not keep all your
passwords same.
Ensure your passwords are not dictionary words, try
using numbers or special characters in between your
passwords since hackers can easily get the passwords
which are dictionary words through various software.

An MBA student running for his career, called and enquired in his dream company regarding any job opportunity. HR personnel replied, “We don’t have any vacancy”. But student forcefully requested for any position, be it sales or back office or clerical work. He compelled HR to re-view any position that could be made available by terminating the services of existing non per-forming employee in the organization. HR re-plied, “We have strong young loyal team work-ing for company. We foresee no opportunity at least for next couple for years.” When finally call ended, he got satisfied and proud, because he was the one who was recruited 2months ago in the company. This is called “Self-Estimation”.
“Ask yourself, are you Self-Satisfied? Are you working on your fullest energy levels?” Lotus which stays afloat in between the muddy wa-ters but still rising up, fresh and charming; it’s there Saraswati Mata resides.
Helping nature, no back-answering, taking feedback, constant learning, respecting elders, taking out time for self introspection, sharing with parents, taking disturbances and hurdles as pleasures, being proactive in all works of life is called “LOTUS Lifestyle”. Other part of life goes in travelling up and down in trains; full day in college or in outings and in corporate-
friends-work life (over-involvement) is called “Local Lifestyle”
Are you satisfied? Even if you are a ranker, or you may have Rs. 10lakhs package, you may have 1000+ followers on Facebook; but this question goes tougher to answer …. .. for each of us.
In a small village of Madhya-Pradesh, one boy just heard “Bharat Mata ki Jai”; it was enough to trigger his passion for his mother land, at the age of 16-17 he left everything and never came back – Chandrasekhar Azad. At present there is no “Chandrasekhar” but all are “Azad”.
Born in 1889 and in 1908 he was hanged till death. Even before con-tributing something through voting rights, he contributed tremendous to Bharat and finished his life at the age of 18. His name is Khudiram Bose, every time recalled in the golden pages of Indian History.
Just match your chemistry with some of these personalities and again ask yourself, “Are you satisfied?” “India” is no more “Bharat”. Valuable culture has lost its track and we people travelling on it have lost our way. Reading this article your smart-phone might ring by call or text, and you will loose your track of thoughts even here.
In the vicious cycle of this world, majority of us are ‘Driven element’ ,but none of us are ‘Driver element.’ Following factors held the responsibility:
Education: In School all textbooks used to have “Pledge” printed on the first page which starts with “All Indians are my broth-ers and sisters……..” If this was the thought to all, we wouldn’t have heard disaster news of youth crime. Value Added Teaching (VAT) is the important element missing in India, and it’s from this element that vi-cious cycle starts.
2323
Environment: Respiratory damage occurs when “Carbon is heavy and Oxygen is less.” Similarly, crime is like carbon dioxide and simplicity is like oxygen. But, today its crime to live a simple life, to have spiritual talks when friends meet in a group. More than the climate, it’s our thoughts that have been polluted by dangerous chemicals. To be in group, to be accepted by others you need to cross your fencing and get exploited. In your peer circle do you have people to whom you can ask for your true feedback? Hard to find a true motivator, because our idols in our mind are those people who drag us more inside materialistic world.
Exposure: Socially or personally, exposure limit has gone beyond our imagination. ”We are driven as the world drives us.”
Elements that have played a major role :
Media - “One picture is more powerful than thousand words” Each story gives us an idea and every idea is presented as story.
Liberal parents - The level of smoking, drink-ing in youngsters has risen up to such an ex-tent that parents either don’t care or they don’t dare.
We are intelligent but we lack intellect. Con-sider ourselves as water; there’s slope in front and temptation in form of addiction is the push, we are bound to slide down.
A Brahmin had no finance for his daughter’s marriage and hence he decided to commit suicide. Before ending his life he thought “Let me do a good deed, I would sacrifice my life to lion; thus feeding him and saving a prey whom he would have pounced on.” There came a lion and the moment he was about to pounce, he heard a voice, “wait, this Brahmin is merciful. You must give him the jewelry you found after killing you last human prey.” – a Swan was the mo-tivator. Lion gave the Brahmin all the jewel-ry. His daughter’s wedding ended happily. After 4 years, for another daughter he
thought, “Lion is my savior.” When he con-fronted the lion this time, a different voice was heard, “Kill this man, foolish lion.” – a crow was the motivator.
“When motivator changes, the entire line of your future changes drastically”
Ask yourself: What kind of person mo-tivates/inspires/guides you?
Every person has a) Public phase – through which he/
she gets the recognition b) Private phase – what the person is
within himself / herself Rather than the surrounding worst fac-
tors, moments like valentine day, New Year day, college festivals are the prime culprits/promoters who open the door for all sorts of addiction. It comes initially as visitor, becomes our trespasser with no purpose but gradually becomes occasional guest proceeding to resi-dent and finally we become the owner of Ad-diction. At this level, we are nil at self-resistance and this provokes us for frustration every single moment.
CDC (Centre for Disease Control and Prevention) under WHO concluded that 1 puff of cigarette = 50ml of smoke inhaled; 1 hook-ah session = 500ml of smoke inhaled. Hence, annually 1 cup of tar is ingested in our stom-ach.
We never bother to bring any change in our public phase but for the private phase, we are knowingly/unknowingly bringing revo-lution. Focused reason being ‘We, ourselves are always longing for the temptation.’ Remedies for Self-satisfaction
Be self-resistant – A single blow( addic-tion) of wind can spoil the entire ran-goli (character). You are the one who have to close the window, door, venti-lator and preserve your character.
Dare to be different and maintain your integrity – If a man is surrounded by herd of goats, he would definitely not be driven to eat grass. In doing so, he doesn’t stand out as a weirdo but
2424
surely unique. Be selective - Select those personalities
as your idols who give you perfect ideology and represent your icon.
Never cross ‘CREASE’ and be on Simple life track – In cricket, the most important element is ‘Crease’. Fours, sixes, run out, no ball are all on basis of a single thin crease. We must have heard cars, bikes, trucks getting lost but have u ev-er heard a train getting lost? Because it never leaves track. If we leave our fa-milial cultural track, we are bound to get lost.
Change your complex – In a hospital, if all others are ill and you feel well; do you feel inferior? Consider yourself as ‘Zero’. 21 is twenty-one but 210 is more valuable. Zero is zero but always a hero. Change begins with pain but ends with pleasure.
Adopt ‘No SODA’ formula : S – Smoking O – Outing D – Drinking A – Adventure
To encase our “GATE” personality G – Generosity and Genius A – Accepting and accordingly acting T – Talented and Transparency E – Emotional and Energetic If you are hungry for the praise, you are
bound to run on streets of this vi-cious world but if you are hungry for self-realization, than you ought to dive within your soul and know yourself.
To be great, we have to attack others and gain position but to be good, we have to bring change within our self.
Whenever in life you seem to find the surrounding factors/elements unfa-vorable and find a need to change the background, just remember..
‘Be the change you want to bring in this world’

The topic Corruption-Scam in India can run 500 lines, 500 pages and more and more also. Corrup-tion has progressively evolved in every sphere of the Indian society. It could be in the form of a taxi-driver manipulating the meter to jack-up the read-ing or a government officer taking bribe to prompt-ly transfer your file to the next department or even yourself offering bribe to a traffic police on breaking a signal or be it a police consta-ble asking 'chai-pani' *tips+ in small amounts. Like this for anything and every-thing you have to dose with vitamin M *money+ to get things done.
There are a number of scams in the Indian administration like:
Coalgate Scam Commonwealth Games Scam 2G Spectrum Scam Telgi Scam Satyam Scam Adarsh Housing Society Scam Bofors Scam The Fodder Scam (CharaGhotala) Harshad Mehta and Ketan Parekh Stock Market
Scam and many more… Corruption is also a well-known white-collar crime.
It is not limited to the concept of bribes of illegal gratification taken by public servants. The very famous white-collar scam names include Satyam, Enron, WorldCom, Societe General, Parmalat, Ahold, Allied Irish, Bearings and Kidder Peabody. It starts small. Typically, executives do not wake
up one morning and say, "I feel like adding 5 bil-lion rupees to our revenue today." They usually start by fudging the number a little and then it grows. There are many causes of corrup-tion in India. Nex-us between bu-reaucrats, politi-cians and crimi-nals is the main
cause of corruption in every country. Lack of eth-ical qualities and morality among corporates, administrators and politicians, illiteracy among people, poor economic infrastructure – all these are types of corruptions which tightens the grip over people.
Corruption has a worst impact on our economy and could destruct our image in international scenario. Best example of this is Commonwealth games scam. Commonwealth game is a global phenomenon and recently exposed scam has maligned the image of India in the global scenar-io.

We will have to have planned measures to fight corruption. Bureaucracy should be made more citizen friendly, accountable and transparent. More and more courts should be opened for speedy justice. Lokpal and Vigilance Commissions should be more powerful and of independent na-ture so as to provide speedy justice. Other measures like strict laws should be made; politi-cal interference should be minimized; power to make policies in public interest should be vested with independent commissions; people should have a right to question the elected representa-tives and get answers; funding of elections should be banned and there should be State funding of election expenses for candidates and persons with criminal records should be denied to contest elections. More areas of public interest should be covered under Right to opposition against al-lowed Information, which will empower the citi-zens to ask for more information. Stringent ac-tions should be taken against corrupt officials. An immediate function which needs to be taken is to literate the people.
Whistle blowing is an honorable technique against corruption used by many multinational
corporates, recently in news. Whistle blower is a person who raises a concern about wrong doing occurring in an organization. Whistle blower fre-quently faces reprisal from organizations. Whis-tle blowing policy should be made mandatory with clear cut guidelines for prosecuting intimi-dation of or retaliation against complainant and an act for the protection of “Whistle blower” should be made.
The life and future of the nation is secure only when the nation is corruption free. Honest and dedicated persons in public life could be the most important instrument to tackle corruption. Priority should be given to make all public offices more people-friendly in reality. The fight against Corruption may well begin with simple acts of documentation. Media also can play a significant role to abolish the corruption by exposing the corruption. In last, few words by Anna Hazare - “Khazane ko choro se nahin pehredaro se dokha hain. Is desh ko sirf dushmano se nahin, in gad-daro se dhokha hai. Yeh gaddaar baithe hain.”(We should fight! The funds in govern-ment treasuries are ours. The treasuries are not threatened by thieves but by those who guard it.

The country is not be-trayed by enemies but by these traitors.)
Let each one of us con-tribute in smallest of ways to make this na-tion a better place. I made an attempt in my capacity for fighting against corruption by choosing it as my pro-fession. In my 5 years of stint with Deloitte Forensic, I have assist-ed to investigate and unearth numerous scan-dals in corporates and the individuals connected with them at all levels. Express your solidarity for the modern Gandhi, Anna Hazare and take that small step for eradicating corruption from our coun-try. Empower the country in this movement because this involves each one of us. Go for it guys! Let’s have a corruption free India because we deserve it!

This report is based on the extensive research that was conducted by me (Ridima Wali) and An-kita Mishra from Human resource as a part of our extended project during our winter internship at Alembic. This project acted as a catalyst and helped us in getting our job at Alembic Pharma-ceuticals. When you will read a report ,you will come to know, the way one should conduct a research project. My special gratitude towards Mr. Tejas Fadia, whose consistent efforts made this happen.
The Objective of the project is as follows-
1.To understand the motivators and barriers among the Medical Representatives of reputed Pharma Companies ( around 10-12).
2.To understand the perception of doctors about the MRs of different Pharmaceutical companies.
3.To suggest recommendation to increase the retention rate of MRs at Alembic
Methodology
2 structured questionnaire were prepared for MR and doctor interview respectively. The question-naire for the MRs covered various parameters like Company culture, recognition from Company, so-cial status as an MR, the performance evaluation criteria etc.
The respondents were asked to rate above men-tioned parameter on the basis of their satisfaction and the perceived importance.
As a perception survey, the doctors were asked to rate the MRs of various companies (the same re-puted pharma companies as used for MR s) on various criteria like product knowledge, commu-
nication etc.
Sample- 100 MRs and 25 doctors of varying spe-cialties were interviewed (face to face)
Post interviews, once the responses were collected and collated, SPSS was used as a tool to analyze the data and various conclusions were deduced.
Research Methodology
Once the responses were collated the data was analyzed on SPSS using criteria like means, correla-tion, and regression to evaluate and deduce con-clusions
For doctors’ survey, SPSS was used to undertake perceptual mapping process which gives an idea about the parameters in which the MRs of various pharma company excelled or needed improve-ment.
Time Duration And Phases
The project was divided into 2 phases-
1.Interview – 2 months 2. Analysis of data and Finalization of Report –
10 days
Report Preparation ( Variables )
After analysis, variables were found out and from this variables, the top 3 motivators and top 3 barri-ers for the MRs were selected. This variables helped MRs either improving or hampering their performance, respectively. We decided the flow of our presentation which was as follows-
1. Variables of the questionnaire were explained
28
Analysis of motivators and Barriers in Pharma Sector
2929
2.The areas and territories that were covered for interview process, were mentioned
3. A comparison among various motivators and barriers were undertaken
4.The barriers and motivators of various Pharma Companies were explained
5. Various Correlations between variables were explained with the help of qualification and age of the MRs and with respect to their social status, compensation , recognition, etc.
6.As doctors’ perception survey, along with representation of perceptual mapping, the per-ceived importance of parame-ters was ranked.
Finally the top 3 motivators and barriers were revealed
Conclusion:-
1.During face to face interviews, it is important to explain the purpose of interview and make the interviewee comfortable
2.The wordings of the questionnaire should be simple, to the point and crisp.
3. MRs should not be hesitant to approach to doc-tors for interviews.
4. Mapping is an important and useful con-cept, get thorough with it.

He is the reason that
birth and death takes
place, Described as the
one with multiple faces
and also some times with-
-out a face.
Comes in many forms,
Invisible to the eye but is
present all around, In this
universe nothing belongs to
you, everything is his, from the
sky to the ground.
Everyone remembers him during
bad times, but forget him when
the time is good, To achieve him
was the main reason of our birth,
but we now only work to get
money and food. Pure we were but
now we are full of fear, jealousy, anger
and greed,
Slowly slowly from humans we are being
like the animal breed.
Took so many avatars to show us how to live and
lead our life, But nowadays people are killing each
other and in their hands is the blooded knife.
Do good deeds and rise up to the heavens was his only will,
People now find petty reasons justifiable to kill !
Its been said that parents are a form of god himself,
People today have even forgotten them and are worried only about well being of themselves.
God is ready to shower his blessings and give everyone an eternal boon,
Hope things improve, there is harmony and this time of so called KALYUG will end soon. Pratik Trivedi
