Prologue

The Denisovans are a different species of human, they were once living in peace with the humans hundreds of thousands of years ago, until the competition for space and food on the Earth was too much of a demand between the two species. There was a war, bigger than any world war. This war was simply the Humans against the Denisovans. The humans were very good at problem solving but were not as intelligent as the Denisovans who were not very good at problem solving. There was a battle, named, “The War of the Species”. The humans won because there army was much more prepared, so the small amount of denisovans fled the planet to an unknown location. But now, they have decided to come back, after roaming space for a few thousand years they have decided they need a place to grow and call their home. Their army is now much more powerful and efficient than the humans could ever imagine. Denisovan scouts have been sent down to survey the area, to see if the humans are even a worthy match for the Denisovans. but unfortunately they have crash landed, the humans have quickly realised this and have sent out a team to catch and photograph the Denisovans. After all, if the humans have photographic evidence of the Denisovans, then the risk would be too great for them and they would be forced back into space and roam space for another thousand years. The fight is for the earth, and we wont know who wins until you show us.

Both teams will start together at the same destination, both teams must text the phone number provided stating “I AM HUMAN” or “I AM DENISOVAN”.

You also must pay close attention to the media you are provided with along the way, because this will code the authorization at the end and allow you to win, this will also demonstrate the excitement and tension that goes with the game.

Its your choice whether you plan the route In which you go or if you go randomly, if you wish to plan the route then there is a tutorial how to do this on the website

PreparationYou are the games master, follow these steps:

1. Decide where you're going to play the game.– The ending point must be an open space (e.g. park)

– Starting point (Crash site) should be around an hour or two away from the ending point (landing zone) use Google maps to check the walking time, or do not plan the route.

– Avoid crossing motorways and military grounds.

2. Print out slides 9-16– These will contain the instructions for Humans and Denisovans (to be given to

them on the day)– Checkpoints (code worded, must be cut out)– Beacons (optionally used instead of chalk, black and yellow squares)

3. Cut out the Checkpoints and the Beacons (optional instead of chalk).4. Decide a date and time and tell your friends to meet at the crash site.

How to Play

Human Goals:Must collect the authorization letter which

is contained within each media file. The code is 8 letters long.

You must photograph the denisovans at a checkpoint standing still to win .

On the day:Get into two teams Denisovans and Humans. Each team with a phone with internet access.

• Have teams text “I AM HUMAN” or “I AM DENISOVAN” to +442003331006• Give the checkpoints and beacons to the Denisovan Team.

• Each team must also have their teams instructions with them.• Tell Denisovans to head off and place each beacon so it is visible from the last and each

Checkpoint every 8-10 minutes.• Denisovans start game, then the humans start 10 minutes after they have left.

• The Denisovans must text their chosen checkpoint to the phone number provided, then interact with the media file and find a letter of the 8 letter authorization code (one letter is in each checkpoint). Denisovans must leave checkpoint behind for the humans after use.

Each team has different goals to win.

Denisovans Goals:Must collect both the authorization codes, one which is in the media content and one which is alerted to you when the Humans reach each checkpoint, the media code is 8 letters and the alert code is 7 letters.

Must avoid being photographed at the checkpoints.

YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE PATH

OF THEDENîSØ√AN

This means that you are being hunted! You haven't got much time to aid your species back to earth and become the most dominant species on the planet earth.

Firstly text the given number stating “I AM DENîSØ√AN” Your species future is in your hands, you must quickly get away from

the HUMAN’S ,they will be close behind. You will be alerted when the humans reach the Beacons which you have made and will be given a letter for a separate authorization code. You only need 7

letters to be able to complete this code, text them immediately to the species king. You will need both codes to be able to win. You must leave a trail behind you by marking a circle on the floor with a pen or chalk for your species to know where you are. You must make sure that each circle is visible from the last circle. Every 8- 10 minutes you must create a circle with a cross in the middle,

this is a checkpoint, you then must use the sections on your guide and text the code to the given number. You will then

receive a media file which you must watch or listen to discover a letter of the authorization code. This content will also aid you in your mission. You MUST stand still at each checkpoint. You must then leave the section behind at the checkpoint and make sure it

stays there with sellotape or blue tack. Can you be the one to beat the odds and re-discover your powerful species?

YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE PATH OF THE HUMAN

You are the hunters, you must rest at nothing until you have caught the evilFirstly you must text the number provided stating “I AM HUMAN”. Then you must wait 10 minutes after the leave, you must at least give the filthy scum a chance.

You must then follow the trail that they have left for their species, and with each checkpoint that you see you should find a piece of paper showing a code. You then must text the code to

the International Leader of Space and Environmental issues, you will then receive some media footage which you must listen or watch, to be able to discover the letter in each media footage which will make up the authorization code, this footage will also allow you to

understand the story more in depth. You MUST stand still at each checkpoint. If you spot the standing still then you must take a picture of them to win

the game along with the authorization code. Good luck and don’t let them get away.
