OTHER NOTES:

LAVENDER FESTIVAL OPPORTUNITY: Interested in taking one of my classes (classes I teach) or giving it as a gift to someone else? Our Lavender Festival is July 7-9. If you are willing to come and help me in the workshop for a day, you get a free class. What does helping involve? Working with children and adults to do a predetermined craft activity. Last year it was making Lavender themed cards. Maybe answering a few questions about the workshop and classes. It basically is being an extra set of hands and eyes! No particular skillset required.

BULLSEYE GLASS FOR SALE

I have a fairly large amount of Bullseye glass for sale at approximately half wholesale cost (and sometimes more). I have some sheets, lots of 10 x 10 in pieces, and many pieces cut as rounds (meant for fusing/slumping but can be used for anything else as well). 10 x 10’s are $10 for clears, blacks, and whites and all others are $12. Cost for larger pieces based on square inch.

Note: The Workshop has other materials for sale as well ranging from Artwork to lavender products to Ukrainian placemats to gelli pads, stickers, collage packets, books, and more.

POSSIBLE CLASSES

I am still in the process of scheduling summer and fall classes. Soon to be announced are encaustic classes led by an incredible artist. She will teach both a beginner’s class and a more advanced technique class that creates texture and visual interest.

Throughout the summer I will offer a number of Exploration courses. These are low cost classes (usually $5-10) where you can explore a genre or project. I’ll probably, for example, offer marbling several times during the summer. Watch FB and your email box for updates.

What other courses would you like to take from me? Or from a guest artist/teacher? Do you know someone I should contact about coming to teach? Please let me know!
