Il colore dei nostri denti è determinato dallo smalto e dalla dentina che nel corso degli anni possono essere sog- getti a discromie estetiche. Le cause più frequenti di macchie sui denti sono il consumo di sostanze come the, caffè, vino rosso, liquirizia, cola, il fumo, l’assunzione di alcuni farmaci a base di tetracicline, traumi, devitaliz-zazioni, invecchiamento � siologico. Lo sbiancamento alla poltrona è una soluzione innovativa ed al passo con le nuove scoperte scienti� che per dare ai pazienti risultati esteticamente soddisfacenti ed in tempi notevolmente ridotti. Questa nuova metodica si avvale dell’utilizzo di gel sbiancanti professionali a base di perossido d’idrogeno al 38% che si attiva rapidamente grazie all’azione combinata con la lampada a LED liberando ossigeno. L’ossigeno, penetrando nella struttura

dentale, provoca una reazione di ossido-riduzione che scompone le grosse molecole delle macchie in composti più piccoli e rende il dente più chiaro e luminoso. I denti risultano più bianchi e risultati clinici rilevati su un vasto numero di pazienti evidenziano un grado di sbiancamento � no a 8 tonalità (misurabili con la Scala Vita).È importante sottolineare la presenza di nitrato di potassio e � uoro all’interno della formulazione che minimizza i fenomeni di sensibilità. Il trattamento non è permanente, in quanto lo smalto dei denti, nel corso del tempo, assorbe le colorazioni dovute agli agenti esterni con cui viene a contatto e può essere ripetuto periodicamente.

Protocollo di sbiancamento Il trattamento prevede che tutti i tessuti molli sia interni che esterni (gengive, lingua, labbra) siano protetti utilizzando una diga fotopolimerizzabile, garze e rulli di cotone. Il gel si applica direttamente sulla super� cie dei denti e viene attivato tramite la fonte di luce della lampada a LED. Vediamo passo per passo le fasi del protocollo di sbiancamento professionale.

Il gel sbiancante White Accelerator Plus è il trattamento pro-

fessionale a base di perossido di idrogeno al 38% comodo e

veloce da utilizzare direttamente in studio. Viene utilizzato per

la riduzione delle discromie dentali intrinseche ed estrinseche;

è indicato anche per lo sbiancamento dei denti devitalizzati.

Il prodotto è mono-componente quindi pronto all’uso senza

ulteriori miscelazioni.

White Accelerator Plus è particolarmente indicato per la tecnica

di Curing Lamps ossia con l’attivazione di fonti di calore quali

lampade al plasma, LED, lampade alogene. Il prodotto appartiene

alla classe II A della direttiva Medical Devices 93/42/CEE.

COMPOSIZIONE

Perossido di idrogeno al 38%, Acqua depurata, Glicerolo,

Sistema di sbiancamento ambulatoriale bi-componente a base di

perossido di idrogeno al 37,5% richiede una durata minima di

applicazione ed è il più veloce disponibile.

Il confezionamento in siringhe bi-componenti 4:1 contenente

il perossido di idrogeno e l’attivatore, garantisce e� cacia e mag-

giore stabilità del prodotto in quanto la miscelazione durante

l’applicazione rende disponibile una maggiore quantità di

Il procedimento di sbiancamento è doloroso?

Il trattamento non provoca fastidi o disturbi. Tuttavia alcuni pazienti potrebbero avvertire una temporanea sensibilità generale a denti e gengive. I sintomi scompaiono in 1 o 2 giorni.

Quanto tempo occorre ?

Il trattamento è super veloce e puoi vedere i risultati dopo 20/30 minuti.

È un trattamento permanente?

No, lo smalto dei denti assorbe le colorazioni dovute agli agenti esterni con cui viene a contatto. È fondamentale una corretta igiene orale per un più duraturo effetto del trattamento che potrà essere ripetuto quando vuoi.

Dopo aver effettuato lo sbiancamento ci sono delle raccomandazioni da seguire?

Le 48 ore successive sono importanti per riuscire ad ottenere il miglior risultato di sbiancamento possibile. Evitare il contatto con sostanze coloranti e acidi quali: caffè, té, vino rosso, frutta e verdura coloranti, liquirizia, coca cola, agrumi, pomodoro, dentifrici, colluttori, clorexidina, tabacco.

**Vi Consigliamo una “dieta in bianco”, a base di pasta e riso conditi con burro, petto di pollo, prosciutto cotto, patate, mele, pere.

The color of our teeth is determined by the enamel and the dentine, which over the years, may be subject to aesthetic discolouration. Enamel and dentine are permeable, consequently subject to absorbing external substances. Teeth are mainly stained due to external factors such as smoke, coffee or tea, fluoride or natural physiological tooth aging. The professional whitening system is an innovative solution able to give to patients very satisfactory results in very short times. This new treatment is produced with hydrogen peroxide at 38% which is activating very fastly thanks to the combined action with a LED Lamp. Hydrogen peroxide in all whitening formulas is the active ingredient: the whitening works by oxidenting reduction.
