Technology” on 3rd

&4th

April 2019. This workshop is an ideal platform for PG scholars and the UG students to

exchange and share their experiences, research results and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions to be adopted.

wide publicity among your staff members, research scholars P.G. and U.G. students of your institution and encourage them to participate in the workshop.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

The objective of this workshop is to ensure that the students are well trained for the

prerequisite courses of certification. Update students with actual benefits and usage of IoT.

Provide the Quality Education with no compromise. The workshop will be consisting of

Hardware and Software modules. By providing Hands-on workshop to students, they will get

an idea on hardware components as well as circuit designing on software. By using this

knowledge they can develop real time projects.

DAY 1

INAUGURATION

PIC 1 Inauguration Meeting For Workshop In ECE Seminar Hall

The Principal Dr. Mohammed Yousuf Ali inaugurated the workshop with his

inspirational thoughts and shared his practical experiences. Dr. Rajasree Rao, Vice Principal

and HOD ECE Motivated the students by sharing her experience based on importance of IOT

and encouraged the students to participate in this kind of workshop. Mr.Somasekhar ,Trainer,

MANAC Infotech Pvt Limited briefed about the workshop and asked the students to improve

the designing skills. Mr. Abdul Wasay Mudasser, Coordinator expressed his ideas and

importance of this workshop for the students at this level. He expressed the vote of thanks to

the Management for encouraging to organize this kind of workshop, Principal for Motivating

every time, HOD for constant support, Innovative team for accepting our invitation for the

workshop and students for their participation.

In the afternoon session, the class was started with brief introduction given on IoT

Technology.

PIC 2: Students Listening to the delivery of resource person

At the end of Day 1, Student got Knowledge about

Basics of IOT and its applications.

IOT including Home Automation & Security.

IOT related to Cloud computing concepts.

How open platforms allow you to store your sensor data in the cloud.

Hardware Implementation (Types of sensors, Wi-Fi modules).

Understanding the structure and programming of microcontrollers.

DAY 2

On 4th of April, the lecture started with significant introduction to Current trends in

Embedded systems .

PIC 3: Trainer Mr Janu Naik, explaining Students about how to perform Simulation Using

Arduino Software in Lab.

PIC 4: Students doing the simulation on systems in Lab

At the end of Day 2, Students learnt about

❖ Current Trends in Embedded systems.

❖ Embedded Systems Basics.

❖Embedded Systems Applications.

❖ Performing Simulation of Some Modules using Arduino Software .

PIC 5: Students with Certificates after completion of Workshop

Conclusion

The workshop was as a domain for student’s career step and was also useful for the

students in the new revolution in technology. Finally, students get benefited from this 2
