Parent Teacher Meeting was organized 28th Jan. 2016. During this meeting, the detailed information of the department developments is conveyed to parents. The progress of the students is conveyed to the parents and the lab visit is organized for the parents to make them aware about the moderns equipments purchased by the department. Prof. M.R.Tarambale has given brief idea about the activities conducted in the department. Hon. Principal Dr. S.M.Deshpande has addressed the parents. The parents have also expressed their views for development of their ward.

One Day Institute Level Technical Event “TechFest-16” on 9th FEB, 2016

Electrical Engineering student’s Association (EESA) has organized this event “Technical Spark Quiz” Total 36 groups have been participated and the winners of the event are:

Add on Course Conducted Add on course on Basics of AutoCAD and E-AutoCAD in association with Trance Academy Pune, during January - April 2016 (30 Hours course conducted for T.E. Electrical Students). This was the certification course offered by Trance Academy, Pune. Department has signed MoU with trance academy for conduction of such courses.

MoU exchange with K-Watt Solutions, IIT, Powai (March-2016) Department has signed memorandum of understanding with K-Watt solutions, IIT, Powai. KWatt Solutions Private Limited (kSPL) is a company incubated in Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE) at the renowned institute, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. The company is operational in the Renewable Energy space focusing on energy optimization and technology customization to endow with economic renewable energy solutions by creating and nurturing network of entrepreneurs; and by doing so, kWatt Solutions is working towards economizing renewable.

Industrial Visits Organized

Department has organized an Industrial visit to Suzlon Global Services Ltd, Wind Power Plant, Satara, on Friday, 22 Jan 16or T.E. Electrical. It is a 350 KVA Windmill at Satara, in the state of Maharashtra, India.

Department has organized an Industrial visit to VEER, Hydro Power Station, Khandala on Friday, 22 Jan 16 for T.E. Electrical, It has generating capacity of 9000 KW.
