Project: Bridge Q-15 Repairs Sussex Mills Road, Sparta Township
Construction Forces: - Sussex County Office of Bridge & Traffic Safety
Schedule:
- Work is secheduled to begin the week of July 15th
.
- Anticipated duration of construction work is 2-3
weeks
Traffic Control:
- Work will be completed utilizing staged
construction and alternating, signal-controlled,
single lane traffic (See Bottom Photo at Right).
- Sussex County portable traffic signal trailers and all
necessary signage will be deployed to control
motorists through the work zone.
- Work will be completed in two phases (one phase
for upstream work and one for downstream work).
Construction Activities: • July 12-16: County forces will Install / Implement
Traffic Control for Work Zone
o Week of July 15th
: County forces will begin
Construction efforts to Repair / Extend Upstream
and Downstream Headwall and Wingwalls.
o TBD: Install New Guide Rail Attachments to Bridge
Structure.
o TBD: Restore roadway and road shoulders.
o TBD: Repair / Replace Beam Guide Rail as
necessary.
