ELIGIBILITY Please check each item below; candidates must meet all eligibility requirements. • Must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States• Must be enrolled in a degree program (part-time or full-time) leading to a BA or BS degree• Must have junior or senior standing when REU Site starts in Summer 2017 (final year for applicants from

two year colleges), and have a GPA of at least 3.3 and be in good academic standing• Should have interests in or be majoring in psychological and social sciences, neuroscience,

behavioral health science, engineering, computer science, math, kinesiology, or biomechanics• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week during the entire 8-week summer term (June 5

through July 28, 2017).

3. LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION:

Please have two letters of recommendation sent directly from a current or former teacher, mentor, or employer. Someone who can comment on your academic achievements or lab experience is best. Letters of recommendation must be emailed to pat.delucia@ttu.edu. Please ask your recommenders to include your surname in the name of the file they send to us.

APPLICATION DEADLINE To be considered for an HFTTU summer internship position, all application materials must be received by

January 1, 2017. Please compile all but the recommendation letters (and possibly transcripts unless they will be

sent directly to us) into a single file whose name includes your surname. We will notify you on or around

February 1, 2017 whether or not you were selected for an HFTTU internship position. You have to notice us

whether you accept the offer by Feb. 15, 2017.
