and administrative work.

Our vision for the next 2 years is:

to have a full-fledged work force to cater to the increasing workload handled by our

Dr Sneha Shirodkar has been in clinical practice and academics

for 30 years and is a university-approved PG/ UG Teacher for

MD, DGO and MBBS.

She has been Convener and Examiner for MUHS (Nashik)

UG/PG exams.

External Examiner for KLE University Surat, Ahmedabad,

Gujarat University.

Member of Staff Selection Board- MUHS Nashik (obstetrics &

Gynecology).

Member of HICC, Breastfeeding Committee, Promotion

Committee.

She has been Chairperson for MOGS 2018, RCOG 2017 Annual

Conference.

Being actively involved in Research activities, she is author of 2

chapters.

Done 15 publications with 2 in international journal.

Felicitated with Best Teacher Award 2019 by MOGS and FOGSI.

Dr. Reena J Wani (MD, MRCOG (UK), DNBE, FICOG, FCPS,

DGO, DFP)

Dr Reena Wani has been in clinical practice and academics for 27

years and is a university-approved PG/ UG Teacher for MD, DGO

and MBBS.

She was Professor (Additional) at TN Medical College and BYL

Nair Ch. Hospital, Mumbai and I/C Family Welfare Program

since 15 years and completed 21 years of service first as lecturer

then Associate Professor at those institutes before moving to

HBTMC & Dr RN Cooper hospital.

She received 5 distinctions and 2 gold medals in her medical

career, many prizes and awards, and was awarded the Ganatra

Trust Prize for contribution to Social issues in Women’s Health

2010, MOGS Dr Duru Shah Best Committee member award 2012

and Late Dr RD Pandit Essay Prize 2013 and 2015.

Savitribai Phule Award for International Women’s Day 2015 from

SGPRC & Director MCGM

Nominated as one of Mumbai’s Top Docs in a peer-reviewed

survey in India Today two years in a row and was the recipient of

prestigious Hargobind Medical Foundation Medical Fellowship

2006.

author of many chapters in FOGSI books, over 35 publications in

journals, a textbook “ESSENTIAL OBSTETRICS” and is the

editor/ co-editor of 10 books (Fever in Pregnancy, Adolescent

Health, Menopause, Reproductive endocrinology, Fetal medicine,

MOGS Newsletters, Recent Advances in Postpartum Care, Govt.

Guidelines, FOGSI Manual of OBGY).

She is a National trainer for PPTCT Program and Lactation

Management.

Part of expert group for National Guidelines on Retinopathy of

Prematurity (ROP), GCPR Pre-conceptional Care and White

Papers on Influenza and Thyroid Screening.

Won the prestigious SPGRC International Women’s Day Award

2015

Winner of FOGSI Dr D.C. Dutta Prize for Best Textbook for

Playing by the Rules (An Update On Government Policies,

Regulations, Acts For The Practicing Obstetrician And

Gynecologist)

2 of her books were released at AICOG (All India Conference of

Federation of OBGY Societies of India) 2015 January- one on

government guidelines and one a FOGSI Manual for OBGY

practitioners. She was also appointed as Chairperson of FOGSI

Perinatology Committee for 2015-2017.

She is a WHO certified Trainer for Adolescent Reproductive &

Sexual Health and an active member of FOGSI Adolescent Health

& Family Welfare Committees, MOGS Managing Committee and

the Indian Association of Day-Care Surgeons.

She is elected Chairperson of National FOGSI Perinatology

Committee 2015-2017.

Being actively involved in Research activities, she is a founder

member of the PG Academic Committee of TNMC and of the

Institutional Ethics Committee at TNMC & now at RNCH.

Dr. Balaji J Jadhav MD, DHA

Dr Balaji Jadhav has been in clinical practice and academics for

22 years and is a university-approved PG/ UG Teacher for MD,

DGO and MBBS.

He has been Convener and Examiner for MUHS (Nashik) UG/PG

exams.

Dr Rashmi G Jalvee: MS OBGY, DGO, DNB

Dr Rashmi Jalvee has been in clinical practice and academics for

the last 8 years.

Approved Teacher with MUHS (Maharashtra University of Health

Sciences) Nashik for Undergraduate courses.
