The Departmental meeting was conducted regarding latest trends, contemporary issues,
relevance of syllabus and skill based education to frame Syllabus on the lines of Choice
Based Credit System.(CBCS). Internal and external experts are consulted before framing
the syllabus. Comments and views of experts from Various Universities as well as
Research Institutes have also been taken into consideration for professional and practical
features of syllabus.

Yes, the Department obtains feedback from students and staff council and senior
academician of the university. Proper updating and/or modification in syllabus is

The feedback from students is analyzed is reported back for action to the
department by the IQAC.

Each teacher ensures the delivery of lectures as per schedule. Innovative and
Research Oriented teaching methods have been adopted in order to achieve the
programme objectives of the Department. Thrust will be given to the
Contemporary national and international issues of the concerned Subject.

The Department is actively engaged in Teaching as well as in Research. The basic aim
of the department is to provide qualitative education to the students so that they could
be able to get better employment opportunities. The Department is involved in
evaluation, monitoring and policy implication of various government and non-
government schemes in tribal areas. The Department organizes programmes to create
awareness among tribal population regarding democracy, Human Rights, Panchayat
Raj Institutions, leadership and various schemes.
The Faculty members are actively engaged in research activities, research papers have
been published in reputed journals and several books have been written on different
subjects.
