Read to Your Little Astronaut

Birth - Age 3

Kids - A Universe of Stories

Age 4 - Entering 5th Grade

Teens - A Universe of Stories

Entering 6th Grade - 12th Grade

All participants will receive a reading log.

Readers and pre-readers are required to

read (or be read to) 12 hours to complete

the program. “Read to Your Little

Astronaut” parents will complete an early

literacy activity log with their child. A

parent’s permission is required to release

a child’s name as a participant.

Galaxy Hide-and-Seek

The Milky Way inhabitants are

playing hide-and-seek, and the

Earth is it! Can you help the Earth

find the sun, the moon, and the

other planets? Each week a different galaxy object

will be hiding somewhere in the library. Use the

clues to find them. Each week you can enter to

win a grand prize!

Out of This World Storytime

Wednesdays 10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

Designed for children age 3-5 with an adult.

Parents and siblings are welcome.

All of these programs are geared for kids in

K - 5th grade. Come check out the traveling

Digital Planetarium and learn about the principles

of space travel with Mad Science. See separate

flyer or online library event calendar for more

information!

Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by parent or

other responsible caregiver age 13 or older.

Little Stars Storytime

Fridays 10 a.m.

Age 2 and under

Toddlers with an adult

are welcome to this

early literacy storytime.

Each program will last

about 20 minutes.
