AS A GRAPHIC ARTIST
I am a highly motivated self starter that strives for both excellence and competency in all endeavors. I possess a broad capacity for learning and am great at multitasking. I also have the ability to handle fast-paced, multi-faceted

Intern, Multiple Departments: Ongoing, summers 2007-present Vulcan Materials Company, Birmingham, AL• GraphicDesignIntern: Employed artistic sensibility to create visual concepts for company advertisements and informational print materials. Assisted graphic specialists in producing
logos, banners, coil bound books and business cards. Utilized Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.• InformationServicesIntern: Worked on several telecommunications projects, including audits of both land-based and cellular communications systems, to centralize management
of both systems, reduce company expenditures and streamline account payment system. Worked with end-users to provide support for a variety of technology, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
Marketing and Public Relations Associate: August 2011-May 2012 Berea College Black Student Union, Berea, KY• Worked with the PR group to plan and execute marketing strategies for BSU events.• Implemented a campaign to make the organization recognizable on campus by producing a new logo, t-shirt design and interactive e-mail newsletters.• Used graphic design skills to produce promotional print and electronic materials for club activities.
Resident Advisor, Hall Monitor: August 2011-present Berea College, Berea, KY• Served as a student advisor to 80 residents by enforcing college regulations and building community amongst residents.• Promoted from resident advisor to hall monitor.• Supervised a staff of student workers in dorm maintenance functions.
