Description

Many of our extension cables are virtually indestructible and can achieve extremely sharp bends without affecting transmission. Our connectors are spe cifically chosen for their low insertion loss and dimen sional stability. Unlike our competitors that tend to use a single glass optical fiber which is easily broken, and requires special care to avoid sharp bends.

Photon Control manufactures hundreds of extension cables each month, mostly for specific OEM applications. We are also capable of providing customers with custom cables that are suited to their specific needs.

Photon Control’s extension cables are designed to be rugged and versatile, without the high cost of other cables on the market.

To make your ordering experience as smooth as possible please review the following instructions before ordering your Exten-sion Cable. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to help.

Choose your model: CWA-POF, CWA-RGD, etc.

Choose your connector type: Standard connectors are listed in the Physical Specifications for each probe. If you want an optional connector, indicate your preference here. For example -ST for a ST connector.

Choose your probe length in meters: Standard lengths for probes are listed in the probe’s Physical Specifications. If you want a non-standard length, please indicate your preference here. For example -2M for a 2 meters long standard extension cable, -4M for a 4 meters long custom extension cable, or 0.1M for a 10 cm long custom extension cable.

For example: CWA-POF-SMA-ST-1M is 1 meter long,flexible POF extension cable with SMA & ST connectors.

Bulkhead Adapter

Bulkhead Adapters perform two functions. First they can be used to connect a Fluotemp Probe to an extension cable (or two extension cables together). In addition, they are a inexpensive and easy method for passing fiber optic cabling through a panel or into an enclosure.
