SELECT Metal to Steel Fasteners

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. May be installed using a standard screw gun with depth sensitive nosepiece. For optimal fastener performance, the screw gun should be a minimum of 6 amps and have an RPM range of 1800 to 2500 RPM .

2. Overdriving may result in torsional failure of the fastener or stripout of the substrate.

3. The fastener must penetrate beyond the metal structure a minimum of 3 pitches of thread.

! Precision engineered self-drilling point drills and taps up to 50% faster than competitive fasteners.

! Hardened point and lead threads (HRC 52 min.) provide superior drilling and tapping capabilities.

! Ductile (HRC 28 – 34) load-bearing threads prevent HASCC brittle failures.

! Resists hydrogren assisted failure equal to a Grade 5 fastener.

! Climaseal ACR (Advanced Corrosion Resistance) corrosion resistant finish provides the industry’s highest level of corrosion resistance.

! Unique BX headmark for easy identification.

! Provides maximum resistance to hydrogren embrittlement failures.
