Walking into Kitchen Kitchen is like enter-ing a treasure trove! ey have an entire wall of gadgets, including the square egg press, the Mystic Maid cleaning cloth(their number one seller!) and those unique, hard to nd items for “ e Chef in You!” ey also carry gourmet co ee and specialty foods including an array of salts, sauces and salsas. You will nd upscale serving pieces from Nambe, Le Crueset and Scan Pan cookware from Den-mark making this your number one choice for all your special occasions and everyday cooking needs. Jan has done over 500 gadget demos all over the valley at various schools, charities and private clubs, along with teaching mar-keting strategies at industry trade shows. You can also catch her half hour infomercial on local TV. As for the future, Jan is about to embark on a new venture hosting a cooking show at lo-cal restaurants called “What’s Cooking with Jan Boydstun” which will air Saturday nights 7pm on KMIR. With all of this going on, you can see why Kitchen Kitchen has been rated “Best of the Valley” serving all of you…” e Best Customers of the Valley!”

About Our Cover

Kitchen Kitchen

When Kitchen Kitchen celebrated their 35th anniversary last November, owner Jan Boydstun( e Gadget Gal) re ected on the history of the business that was started by her parents, Phil and Charlotte Carter in 1979. “Little did I know when they asked me to help out for just four months, how my life would change!” Now 26 years later, with hus-band Gary and their three sons helping out, the meaning of a family business has never been more true! Jan has built on the success of her parents, and it is Jan’s smile, infectious laugh and warm personality that has created the family legacy. In 2009, this legacy was perceptibly inte-grated into the store with the addition of the kitchen in the new location. is is where the famous mural painted in 1989 honoring Jan’s parents is mounted on the wall. “We built this kitchen as a tribute to Mom and Dad which is why it has added so much warmth to the store. We have cooking classes here and host private events where the customer custom-designs their menu from appetizer to des-sert!” ey also have free cooking demos of-fering food samples and helpful hints on Free Fun Fridays from 11:00am-1:00pm. ere is always something fun going on!
