Design and Implementation of a Test Bench for Micro Reaction Wheels (Master Thesis/ Practical)
The new micro reaction wheel developed by the ZfT lowers powerconsumption and integration efforts in pico- and nanosatellite missions.Special regards to low torque ripple has been spend to enable missionswith need of high precision attitude control actuators.
Tasks• Identification of possible sub-mN torque measurement strategies• Implementation in hard- and software (Microcontroller, C)• Data acquisition front-end software (C++/Java/Matlab)• Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and verification
Required Previous KnowledgeBackground in control theory or signal processing, experience in electronics design, programming skills (C/C++, Matlab or Java)
