lead/heavy metal dust on adjacent horizontal surfaces including but not limited to window sills,
structural steel, cabinets, ceilings, and lockers.”

a. CLARIFICATION: Added the abbreviation “VRF” and “Variable Refrigerant Flow System” to
the HVAC Abbreviations table.

a. CLARIFICATION: There is an existing 1-1/2” NG main which runs down the crawl space in the
basement that is to remain intact as it serves the existing kitchen on the first floor. This was not

4. Sheet M-102 First Floor Removal
a. DELETE the sheet from the Contract Documents in its entirety and REPLACE with M-102-A1.
1.) Existing steam and condensate piping has been added to drawing, and shown to be removed.
2.) Steam coil in existing ERU has been show.
3.) Note R2 has been updated.
4.) Existing drill hall controls for UV-1 and UV-2 have been shown on and plan and a notes has
been added to remove them, R6.
5.) The fin tube radiation that was shown to be removed at the east addition entrance has been
deleted from the sheet, as this fin tube is currently non-existent in the field.
5. Sheet M-103 Second Floor Removal
a. ADD to removal Note R2 the following sentences, “Modify existing wall opening as required to fit
new ductwork. Infill wall opening as required, match existing exterior wall finish.”
6. Sheet M-104 Basement Renovation
a. CLARIFICATION: There is an existing 1-1/2” NG main which runs down the crawl space in the
basement that is to remain intact as it serves the existing kitchen on the first floor. This was not
shown or noted to remain in the Contract Documents.
7. Sheet M-105 First Floor Renovation
a. DELETE the sheet from the Contract Documents in its entirety and REPLACE with M-105-A1.
1.) Temperature sensor and control symbolic wiring have been added back to plan, to coordinate
with control sequence.
2.) All 3/4ӯ HWS/ HWR piping has been up-sized to 1ӯ.
3.) Fin Tube Radiation has been added to plan in the corridor, next to the south exit.
4.) Natural Gas Riser that was in a sheet metal enclosure at the east addition entrance, R5, has been
re-routed to the exterior of the building, on the south side. Key note R5 has been removed.
8. Sheet M-106 Second Floor Renovation
a. DELETE the sheet from the Contract Documents in its entirety and REPLACE with M-106-A1.
1.) Natural Gas pipes sizes have been updated.
2.) Natural gas piping routing has been modified.
3.) VRF-IU-1 in battalion HQ has been removed.

modified.
