Easyfilm® E: a thin transparent organic coating that enhances the performance of most metallic coated products is delivered completely chromium-free (AZ).

Green organic coated steels – 100% chromium-free primers and surface treatment – are already available from several production lines, such as the one in Piombino at ArcelorMittal Italy, which has more than 10 years’ experience. In line with the green legislation of the European Union, we are successfully eliminating all the heavy metals in Granite® paints.

Zinc run-off reduction: using Aluzinc® or Magnelis® ensures the preservation of natural resources, since these products consume less zinc than pure zinc coatings. Moreover, like Aluzinc®, Magnelis® considerably reduces the zinc run-off into soil, thus causing far less pollution of soil and water.

The high reflectance of Aluzinc® is also appreciated worldwide by labelling the product with the Energy Star logo.

Granite® Comfort save energy and reduce the energy bill of your building

Granite® Comfort is a new type of organic coated steel that greatly improves thermal comfort in buildings. Used as a roofing material, it reflects considerably more sunlight, emits more absorbed radiation back into the atmosphere and absorbs less heat than current organic coated steels, and less than most competing products on the market.

Savings on the total energy bill can be as much as 15%, and the interior of a building can be kept up to 10°C cooler without the use of air conditioning.

Granite® Comfort will improve colour durability and aesthetics thanks to its effect of lowering surface temperature.

Foam stability and thermal expansion of the sandwich panels are clearly improved.

Granite® Comfort, on a hot dip galvanised substrate of minimum Z150 coating for Italy only, comes with automatic guarantees.

Granite® Deep Mat more attractive roofs offering warmth and depth of finish

Granite® Deep Mat in the alternative 25 micron paint coating system has a distinctive deep matt appearance from any angle, combined with a fine wrinkle finish.

This flexible paint system has been specially developed for roofing tiles with a very low matt aspect below 5 GU (gloss units).

Granite® Deep Mat, on a hot dip galvanised substrate of minimum Z225 coating, comes with automatic guarantees.

Granite® Farm very good chemical resistance

Granite® Farm with the alternative 35 micron/7 micron paint coating system (foamable backing coat) is a dedicated product for sandwich panels in agricultural and farm buildings.

Resistant to ammonia, Granite® Farm has an improved corrosion resistance system for uninsulated ventilated agricultural buildings.

Guaranteed against corrosion and any peeling of the coating for up to 15 years, depending on location, on a hot dip galvanised substrate of minimum Z275 coating.

Aluzinc® Florelisfor attractive looking buildings

Aluzinc® simply means aluminium and zinc, fused in almost equal proportions. This unique silvery spangle coating, composed of aluminium (55%), zinc (43.4%) and a touch of silicon (1.6%), is in perfect harmony with the steel.

The specific metallic spangle of Aluzinc® gives its surface a special natural sheen.

Thanks to the development of Aluzinc® Florelis, ArcelorMittal offers a product with a guaranteed uniform spangle size within one production batch. The range is between 1000 and 1800 spangles per dm2.

Aluzinc® Florelis is part of the aesthetic range of ArcelorMittal steel products. Its eye-catching finish undoubtedly gives an attractive and unique look to both modern and traditional façades.

Granite® Wood aesthetic external cladding and accessories

Granite® Wood is available in a selection of wood patterns with natural-looking fibres, giving an authentic character to any suitable application. Garage doors, garden sheds, shutters, window frames, cladding and accessories are just some of the many applications where this product can be successfully used.

Palisander and oak patterns are available in a combination of three colours: Golden, Anticato and Terracotta.
