Math Open Lab Summer Operation Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8 am – 8 pmFriday: 8 am – 12 pmSaturday: 10 am – 3 pm
The Math Open Lab includes:
– Professional Lab Instructors
– 100 computers
– Student Resources Table {stapler, hole puncher, print card machine}
– Print Stations {print card required, $0.10/page}

Lab Grade
Attendance is tracked through Accutrack at the West Campus Math Lab only.
Lab work is *15% to 20% of class grade (*check with your professor for their individual grading scheme)
¾ of the lab grade is based on assignments
¼ of the lab grade is based on weekly attendance

AccutrackWeekly Attendance is Required for All Students:
– First time Sign-in:
Type your VID including V,
Select your Instructor, CRN
Click Continue
Click Yes
– Next Sign-in: Type your VID (Instructor and CRN will be already selected)
Click Continue
– Week begins on Monday & ends on Saturday {no rollover minutes}
Full Term = Minimum of 60 minutes per week
Summer A/B Term = Minimum of 120 minutes per week
For internet access click on Mozilla Firefox.
On Valencia web page, go to Quick Links and drop down to Online Courses. Click Online Courses.
Click on Blackboard.
Enter your Atlas User name and Atlas Password.
Always check your name when you Log in

Click Register & enroll using an access code to view aninstructional video on how to register for MyMathLab

Print an MLP for eachLab assignment
Completing a lab assignmentFill entire Math Learning Plan (MLP)
as you complete each step. Fill one MLP
per assignment.
Take lab pretest or complete
100% of lab exercises.
Write down question numbers of missed
questions on Pretest. Write none
if no questions are missed on Pretest.
Write formulas, concepts and/or exercises
you learned from the chapter.
Get signed off by a lab instructor
to take Lab Mastery in the Math Open Lab.
Score at least 80% on Lab Mastery and
get signed off by a lab instructor.
Assignments
Assignments are done in MyMathLab on CourseCompass.
Lab Mastery is to be done in the Math Open Lab.
NO assistance allowed on Lab Pretest / Lab Mastery.
