Careful consideration is given to minimize the amount of visible hardware and structure, which results in an unmatched clean appearance and simplistic style.

Bulmann Docks are the sturdiest portable docks on the market. Every part of our dock system is spe-cifically designed to have the best strength to weight ratio possible. The aluminum extrusions and the vinyl decking are specifically engineered for our dock system. Each dock section has an internal support linking all of the planks together. The invisible support works similar to how rebar works in concrete.

HARDWARE COMPONENTSThe aluminum structure makes the dock light-weight and maintenance free. A standard 4’x10’ Bulmann Dock top weighs only 110 lbs. and an average leg stand weighs only 25 lbs. Every leg stand has standard braces welded in place for superior strength. The stylish anodized aluminum side rails will not tarnish or oxidize, keeping your Bulmann Dock looking good as new!

Bulmann Docks feature an industry best, 2” thick, maintenance free vinyl decking. Each piece is made with a stylish non-skid diamond pattern. The pattern is cut into the surface with round cutters, which eliminates any sharp edges making it easier to clean. The vinyl decking doesn’t conduct heat so it stays cool even on the hottest summer days. Also, it’s much quieter than aluminum decking. Colors include white, gray, and tan.

Bulmann Dock & Lift uses stainless steel, alumi-num, and silicon bronze for all bolts, nuts, and screws. This combination of top quality material prevents corrosion, making adjustments trouble free.

Our stationary docks are designed for easy installation and removal. Start by placing the dock top onto the leg stands and secure with our user friendly tab lock pins. Leg stands are also adjustable by loosening the set screws and telescoping the leg in and out until it is at the appropriate length. Perpendicular sections and accessories are attached with our innovative hangers. Hangers are attached into the side rail bolt slots with-out drilling any holes. These hangers allow accessories to be moved or added to your dock making it truly modular. When it’s time for the docks removal just pull out the pins and carry or float the dock tops to shore. Being able to remove the legs makes handling the section much easier and takes less room to store.

DESIGN FLEXIBLITYLet your imagination run free! Our dock system is so modular that almost any configuration is possi-ble. Dock tops come in 4’ and 6’ widths. Available lengths are 4’, 6’, 8’, or 10’ as well as left and right angle sections. Our side rail bolt slots make set up easy and rearranging the dock without drill-ing possible. ROLLING DOCK

The Bulmann leveling leg allows the dock to be leveled without getting in the water. Simply turn the end of the screw to independently raise or lower each side of the dock. Bulmann Dock and Lift uses an alu-minum acme threaded rod with a low friction high density nylon nut that will make adjusting the legs easy year after year. Tubular diagonal bracing makes this dock extra sturdy. There are several lengths to choose from to accommodate a wide range of water depths. It’s the feature that you can’t see that makes this screw jack the best on the market.

Bulmann rolling docks feature a plastic wheel that will not go flat or deteriorate. The wheels are manu-factured from polyethylene resin with a UV inhibitor. These wheels offer high stress and crack resis-tance even in low temperatures. The 24” diameter wheels roll easily over rough terrain.

This exclusive latch system allows sections to be connected and disconnected quickly without removing hardware. The rapid latch is concealed under the dock and completely out of sight. The user friendly safety lever slides into position to ensure that the dock system will not become disconnected. The rapid latch has two positions; the first position brings the sections close together minimizing the gap between each section and the second position allows the connected dock to be rolled over uneven terrain or to form a ramp if necessary.

Some people use their dock as an extension of their home and enjoy accessorizing it to the fullest extent. Othersmay use their dock as a mere function to get on or off a boat. Our bench features a comfortable angled frame and a white vinyl seat that keeps cool all summer long.The bench mounts to the side and top of the dock so it will take up less deck space. Benches are available in 48”, 64” and 96” sizes.

Our adjustable kayak racks allow you to store any size kayak along the side of the dock. Aluminum brackets mount to the bottom rail with stain-less hardware so no drilling is required. Single and double wide racks are available.

Complete your bench with arm rests that include cup holders. Wine glass inserts are also available.

Corner wedges are a great way to enhance function and appearance. They not only add deck space, they also add stability when used in a “T” or “L” formation. Corner wedge dimensions are 48”x48”x68”.

A dock tradition! Our swim ladders are made of aluminum with adjust-able legs so the foot pads reach the lake bottom. The ladder attaches to the side of the dock with our easy hangers. There is no drilling required. Ladders come in 3, 4 and 5 step.

With our large steps and incredibly sturdy hand rails, our stairs are number one on the market. They are available in white, tan, or gray. Our stairs are ordered for dogs just as much as people!

The dock step down bracket allows a section of dock to be connected below the previous section creating a step. This can be a good way of changing elevations without a stair case or ramping the sections.

The utility channel connects to the underside of the dock allowing you to secure and hide wires and hoses.

Our vertical bumper is a great way to protect your boat and your dock. It mounts to the side bolt slots and can be moved wherever contact will be made. The vertical bumper is a heavy duty aluminum pipe that is concealed with an attractive white bumper. Perfect for tying up to while board-ing the boat or for a quick visit from a neighbor. The vertical bumper is recommended for light wave and wind conditions.

Our auger tie down system looks just like our vertical bumper when con-cealed but offers a little more bite! This auger system ties the dock to the lake bottom, giving your dock added stability and security for rougher waves and higher wind conditions. This two piece system is also mounted to the side bolt slots, giving you the ability to easily move it wherever you’ll need a little more reinforcement.

These 12” aluminum posts provide a place to secure bird line. This pre-vents waterfowl from landing on your dock, keeping it clear of bird drop-pings.

Available in white or black, these fold-down cleats are secured to your dock with four large bolts. Now you can run freely on the dock without any stubbed toes!

Corner bumpers are made of a soft vinyl that flexes when bumped. They pair nicely with the integrated bumper.(A)

Our solar lights are made from dura-ble plastic and are great for nights out on the lake. They can be mounted to the side of the dock or on a post cover so they do not take up deck space.

Our flower boxes are made from marine grade material. They easily mount to the side of the dock with no drilling required. There are drainage holes on the bottom so dirt and water stay away from your dock top.

Hang your flower basket away from the dock to prevent dirty water from spilling onto your dock top. Also great for lanterns to keep your dock lit at night.

We offer a 16’ telescoping aluminum flagpole. American flag is included. State, collegiate and professional sport team flags are available upon request.

Both the motor and the battery are con-cealed inside of a high density polyethylene cover that offers great protection and easy access. This not only protects the motor and batteries from the elements but also pro-vides a clean look to the lift. The cover can be removed by simply unhinging four rubber latches. Once the cover is removed the vital components are exposed if service is needed.

The Ultimate Guides extend out past the lift and actually “catch” and straighten the boat well before it’s even in the lift. The vertical PVC posts contact only the rub rail of the boat. This prevents the hull of the boat from making contact with the lift. Two Bow Stop posts prevent the boat from overshooting the lift and wreaking havoc on props and vital instruments. Bow stops are the best way to stop the boat in its correct position. Vertical PVC posts allow the boat to move up and down in rough water conditions making contact with only the boats rub rail.

The motor stop helps stop boats with outboards or outdrives to assure proper loading in the lift. Ideal in light to moderate wave conditions.

Getting on and off the boat can be difficult for some. This adjustable step is perfect for bridging the gap between boat and dock.

In 1998 Bulmann Dock & Lift was started by Steve and Becky Bulmann. In the beginning, Bulmann Dock & Lift sold, installed, and repaired products from other manufacturers. Steve’s experience with these other products made him realize the market lacked a well thought out dock and lift system. Seeing that his customers wanted more out of their lakefront living experience, Steve set out to produce better products with these key factors in mind: appearance, ease of installation and removal, low maintenance, longevity, user friendliness, and value.

In 2001, Bulmann Dock & Lift was able to move up from Steve and Becky’s small pole barn to lease a larger manufactur-ing facility in Boyne Falls, Michigan. Here, Bulmann Dock & Lift started manufacturing boat lifts in addition to boat docks. By expanding the product line, building a team of dedicated employees, and providing the best service, Bulmann Dock & Lift quickly became Northwest Lower Michigan’s premier dock and boat lift provider.

In the fall of 2013, the company was able to purchase a much larger facility in Boyne City, Michigan. Today the company continues to make new innovative lakefront products. Bulmann Dock & Lift serves Northwest Lower Michigan and their growing network of dealers throughout the Midwest with impeccable customer service and outstanding products.
