It is my pleasure to introduce Trenette Wilson, author, speaker, and teen expert. A former teenmother, Trenette uses the mistakes of her past to educate, inspire, and encourage urban teens,parents, and service providers through her speaking, workshops, books, and award winningonline community, www.urbangirlz.org.

Trenette has empowered urban youth for the past twenty years and has received several local,state and national honors for her innovative and effective programs. Under Trenette’sleadership, UrbanGirlz has certified 45 women across the state to conduct etiquette workshopsand most recently was selected to be a presenter at the 2011 Texas Association of BlackPersonnel in Higher Education Conference.

Trenette has been a leader in the expansion of etiquette within the urban community on anational level while presenting to teens, students, parents, educators and much more.Trenette’s newest book, the Designer’s Daughter, is a look at real issues that affect the lives ofteens. Through a transparent lens, the Designer’s Daughter deals with teen dating violence.
