How to Log On to the Desktop Student Data

System

Go to the Brevard Schools Home Page at http://www.brevard.k12.fl.us/

Click on Employees.

Now click on Desktop Student Data System.

Click:Log on to the Desktop Student Data System.

Log On Screen

• User name: Domain\last name, first initial

• Password: Your network (e-mail) password

Be sure to put the correct slash - the back slash. It is the one above the Enter key.

How to Personalize your Desktop Student Data

System

Click on Personalize InfoView now.

To change your initial view:

• Click on the 4th button – “the category: (unspecified)”

• Then click the “Browse…” button.

Expand the “Corporate Categories” folder.

Expand the “Student Desktop” folder.

Select the category of report you would like to see when the Student Desktop opens. Click OK after making your selection.

Choose one of these reports.

Now scroll down to “View my documents…” Click on the 2nd selection: “In a single fullscreen browser window, one document at a time.”

Now click on “Apply”, then “OK”.

For the changes you made to “take” you must first log off and then log back on with your password.

Click on the gold lock in the top right corner to log off.

Viewing Reports in the Desktop Student Data

To Print a Report: Click on the printer icon.

IMPORTANT!!

Be sure to specify the Pages in the Page Range Box. Do NOT select All!

“Other” Reports

Inservice Report: Click on “View”.

Enter your Social Security Number. (Alt ID will NOT work)

Click OK and your Inservice Records will be displayed.
