Final assembly and launch will take approximately five days to complete once the vessel reaches Gull Lake. Once coast guard certification is obtained and the new staff members are settled-in, Destiny Cruises will be officially ready for Summer 2014!

Inaugural Cruise of the North Star Coming Soon!

As Minnesota road restrictions continue to delay our launch, anticipation is continuing to build. The North Star luxury yacht is ready and waiting for transportation to Gull Lake as soon as restrictions are lifted, which could still be a couple weeks out. Be sure to follow our Facebook page for continued updates along the way!

Last week, the North Star was loaded in pieces onto several large trailers for transport. The main deck, pictured below, is the biggest part of the vessel – weighing in at over 196,000 lb. and measuring 22 ft. x 65 ft. long. The transportation process will take approximately three days, moving by patrol escort during certain hours of the day that are dictated by the different municipalities along the way.
