American Church in London - Soup Kitchen The Soup Kitchen is a resource for the homeless, elderly, lonely and poor in Central London, providing free hot meals, clothes and toiletries, and creating a sense of belonging and community. Serving around 60 people a day from 10am -12 noon on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the Clothes Closet open on alternate Mondays.

St Pancras Refugee Centre, Holy Cross Church Day centre for asylum seekers and refugees and provides advice, advocacy and casework regarding welfare rights, housing, community care, asylum support and immigration. Drop-in sessions on Weds 12-3pm and Fri 12-3pm offer hot meals, advice and support. Also offers ESOL classes and help accessing education, training, employment and healthcare provides. Drop-in - mental health on Monday 2pm - 5pm and homeless a drop-in for soup and bread on Tuesdays 6pm - 9pm.

The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields Day Centre Facilities include a café, laundry, lockers, showers and health services. The Café serves up a variety of delicious food to meet the diverse tastes of our client group, with a daily changing menu. It gives homeless people daily access to affordable and nutritious food which they would otherwise struggle to find. Weekend services are open from 9.00am to 1.00pm on Saturday and Sunday. The Passage The Day Centre, open from 8am to 6pm on weekdays, 9am to 12 noon at weekends. Rough sleepers are given priority during the breakfast period to enable them to access showers, medical care and clothing, as well as food. To ensure that we are able to focus on our core work – helping homeless and vulnerable people – we no longer operate an open-door policy. As a result, fewer people use the Centre but, since we are now able to direct our resources to those most in need, the total number of visits has increased. The majority of are clients are male, but women are welcome.

Jesuit Refugee Service The Day Centre is a service for destitute asylum seekers who are not eligible for and do not receive asylum support, Section 4 support or assistance from social services. We welcome all nationalities and to those of any faith and those who have no faith; there is no proselytising. The day centre operates an appointment and registration system for new visitors (Mon-Fri). Call to book an appointment. We do not give travel fares for un-booked visits. Asylum seekers who have already been assessed and registered at the day centre are not required to make an appointment for subsequent visits.

West Croydon Baptist Church - Refugee Day Centre This meets on the premises and is serviced by volunteers of which many are older retired members of the Church. The Centre is an independent charitable work founded by a church member and adopted in the Church's vision of care for and in the community. The Day Centre began by providing a hot meal and necessities like clothes, dry foods etc. on a Tuesday.

Streatham Drop-in Centre for Refugees and Asylum Seekers The Centre, based at English Martyrs Church Hall and provides a safe and welcoming environment for many refugee and asylum seeker individuals/families living in the area. On Thursdays the Centre provides complementary therapy and access to health advice in partnership with the Primary Care Trust Refugee Health Team. Fridays volunteers and staff offer support, information and social activities. ESOL classes are provided by Lambeth College. For parents with young children, a crêche is available on site during the day. On Saturday there is a Family Support Group which offers a homework club for 4-12 year olds as well as a mother tongue class in Tigrinya.

The Spires Centre Spires is a South London based charity that helps hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged people all year round. It aims to improve the quality of life of people who are homeless, insecurely housed, unemployed or suffering from the effects of poverty, mental ill health and loneliness. SOUTH WEST LONDON Ace of Clubs Ace of Clubs aims to guide homeless or vulnerable people towards a more secure way of life. In addition to this advice, meals are available every day, laundry and shower facilities, healthcare and leisure activities are also provided. Opening times are 12-3pm Monday to Friday. Hot lunch is served from 12 to 1.30pm for £1 and soup and sandwiches are available from 2.15-2.45pm for 50p. Tea and coffee are served throughout opening hours.

Refugee and Migrant Network Sutton The Drop-in Centre operates on Wednesdays in term time from 10.00am to 1.00pm. The Drop-in Centre also offers free one-to-one counselling, English classes, a crèche and emergency help for client with an immediate need, including food parcels and household items. Refugee and Migrant Network Sutton also offers advice on immigration, advocacy, housing, benefits and support, school enrolment, GP registration and home visits.

Wandsworth Asylum Welcome Wandsworth Asylum Welcome is a friendly open access centre which offers advice, information and support and the opportunity to learn English, and socialise. We provide support in many areas including housing, benefits, access to education, immigration, family support, access to health services, debt, and much more. We work closely with volunteers and partners who provide assistance to clients at the sessions. The Vineyard Project The morning drop-in will have a reception and be aimed at specific needs of body mind and spirit for those who are in crisis or homeless. We will offer food, clothing, shower facilities and comfort. In addition we will signpost to external agencies as well as bringing sources of help to meet points of need such as working in association with Richmond’s SPEAR, solicitors, drug and alcohol teams and benefit advisors who will conduct their appointments and services at our premises. We will offer food, clothing, shower facilities and comfort. There will be opportunities to progress from crisis to community through the afternoon community café. The Margins Project, Union Chapel The Margins Project, based in the Union Chapel, provides a range of vital support services to people facing homelessness, crisis and isolation in our community and beyond. North London Action for the Homeless A small charity that runs a drop-in homeless people and for those in needy circumstances. Our kitchen opens twice a week (Monday lunch: 12.00pm-1.30pm, and Wednesday supper: 7.00pm -8.30pm) and provides a three-course vegetarian meal consisting of thick soup, bread and butter, main course, dessert and tea or coffee free of charge. We provide take-away food and clothing upon request. NLAH is visited periodically by a Health Access Worker, we have a hairdresser who regularly volunteers, a TB specialist and Drug and Alcohol workers.

NORTH WEST LONDON Barnet Refugee Service Mother and Toddler Group for Asylum Seekers and Refugees: Tuesdays 10:00am -12:00pm (during term time only), This project consists of organising a weekly group for asylum seeker and refugee mothers and their under 5’s and runs once a week. The mums learn English through reading, singing, activity, craft and free play sessions with their babies and toddlers. A separate ESOL lesson whilst the children are given a snack and entertained by volunteers.
