Destroying Acne with Herbal and Home Cures Fighting the blackhead and pimple menace

Aloe has antimicrobial capabilities as well.

Lemons

When life gives you lemons, use it to destroy and get rid of acne.

Note that its acidity can be a bit harsh on the skin, so be sure to only use it once a week.

Directly apply lemon juice into the afflicted area, as it will help flush out blackheads and cure acne.

You can dilute lemon juice with warm water.

The Humble Toothpaste

Note: only use this method on individual pimples and in smaller areas.

Acne is an inflammatory skin disease – toothpaste has astringent and anti-inflammatory properties.

It can reduce redness and inflammation caused by acne.

Toothpaste also has antimicrobial properties.

Cucumber

Not only are cucumbers good for salads, they’re also good for your acne.

This fruit has anti-inflammatory properties, making it an effective acne cure. This is also the reason why you see it being put on the eyes.

It is also good for the skin. Try eating some every meal, or by chopping bits of it and adding it to water.

Honey

Raid your kitchen pantry: applying honey to your face is a surefire way to curing acne.

The healing effects of this golden liquid is amazing: it has anti-inflammatory properties and it is tailor-made to destroy inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi.

Create a honey face mask by mixing it with baking soda. This combination also works well against other skin diseases.

In curing acne, it is also a must to observe proper hygiene and a healthy lifestyle: bathe regularly, eat healthy food, and get enough sleep. Consult your dermatologist as well.

You may also result to commercial products, like acne face washes, as long as they are

made from natural ingredients.
