The Functioni and Classfication of the Desuperheater and Pressure Reducing DesuperheaterThe series of desuperheater and pressure reducing desuperheater can reduce the inlet steam pressure P1 and temperatureT1 into outlet steam pressure P2 and temperature T2.This process will make superheated steam into saturated steam for more efficiency of heat transfer.
Superheated Steam is better for anti- cavitation and efficiency conservation of energy but not good for sChart heat transfer. Desuperheater will be applied for this process to change superheated steam into saturated steam.Lot of industries need desuperheater like the power station, industrial boiler, thermal power plant,According to the inlet steam pressure P1 and temperature T1, the desuperheater and pressure reducing desuperheater can be classified as high pressure and high temperature desuperheater and pressure reducing desuperheater, Intermediated pressure and pressure reducing desuperheater, desuperheater system and pressure reducing system. And based on the difference of structure, the desuperheater and pressure reducing desuperheater can be also classfied as the first genera- tion (old generation), second generation, third generation, forth generaton and fifth generation.

Note: 1. As for the desuperheater system and pressure reducing system, the code for both system are indicated by"W "and "Y" respectively.
2.The Pressure Value shall be keep one digit after the decimal point.
Example: As for the desuperheater and pressure reducing desuperheater ,if its Code is WY80-3.82/450-0.98/260-8.0/104, which means the inlet steam folw rate is 80t/h; Inlet steam pressure is 3.82MPa, temperature is 450℃ ;Outlet steam pressure is 0.98MPa, temperature is 260℃ ; Water pressure is 8.0 MPa, temperature is 104℃ .

StructureThe third generation desuperheater and pressure reducing desuperheater consist of pressure-reduce system (pressure and temperature reducing valve, throttle panel ), temperature-reducing system (high differential pressure feed-water control valve, throttle valve) and safety system(safety valve, check valve) and so on.
The main features are as bellow:
1.Apply with the pressure and temperature reducing valve
2.There is throttle mesh enclosure in the pressure and temperature reducing valve, which will help to strengthen the nebulization of the water, protect the valve body and seat, prolong the working life, and at the same time reduce the noise.
3.The temperature-reducing system apply with the high differential pressure feed-water control valve, this can not only reduce the leakage of the valve,but also get rid of the back-water branch in the traditional valve structure, help to be lay out easily.
4. For the high differential pressure feed-water control valve with the same diameter, different flow rate CV can be selected, which improves greatly the accuracy and sensitivity of the control.
5. Pressure and temperature reducing valve and high differential pressure feed-water control valve both apply with the linear actuator, and get rid of the traditional lever system, which improve the accuracy and sensitivity in advance.
6. Both Pressure and temperature reducing valve and high differential pressure water- supply control valve will be applied with the linear pneumatic diaphragm actuator, which meet customer’s special requirements.

Performance Information
1. Inlet steam pressure and temperature:P1≤3.82MPa, T1≤450℃。:The Variation Range for oultlet folw Q shall be 30%Q~100%Q, and this range is best.
3. Outlet steam pressure P2:The control accuracy for outlet steam pressure P2 shall not less than 2.5 level.
4. Outlet steam Temperature T2:The control accuracy for outlet steam temperature T2 shall not less than 2.5 level.
5. Noise: when the equipment is in normal working condition, test the noise on the place 1m far from the pressure and temperature reducing valve, and the noise shall not higher than 80 dbA.

high differential pressure feed-water control valve and spring safety valve and so on. As for the WY-05, it applys the A48Y-16C series safety
valve, while the WY-06 applys the A48Y-40 series safety valve.These two series have 27 types respectively, the outlet DN size is 50-150mm, outlet
WY-05 series is list in (Table 4), and the WY-06 series is list in (Table 5).
4. WY-09, WY-10 series and WY-209, WY-210 series Linear Electric Actuator Type (Pic 4, Pic 8)
WY-09,WY-10 and WY-209, WY210 linear electric actuator type desuperheater and pressure reducing desuperheater is made up of pressure and
temperature reducing valve,feed-water control valve and spring safety valve and so on. As for the WY-09, WY-209, both series apply the A48Y-16C
series safety valve, while the WY-10, WY-210 apply the A48Y-40 series safety valve.These two series has 11 types respectively, the outlet DN
≤ 3t/h. The structure of WY-09, WY-209 series are list in (Table 6), and the WY-10, WY210 series are list in
(Table 7).

temperature reducing valve, pneumatic diaphragm actuator feed-water control valve and spring safety valve and so on. As for the WY-205, it
applys with the A48Y-16C series safety valve, while the WY-206 applys with the A48Y-40 series safety valve.These two series has 11
types

series is list in (Table 11).

Based on normal inlet steam value P1, T1 of the low, middle pressure boiler, this Chart lists the code of corresponding desuperheater and pressure reducing desuperheater value with the scope from P2=1.4-0.1MPa, T2=400-130℃ ,Q=2-120t/h.Note:① This Chart lists the normal value, if there is special value which can not be found in this Chart, please contact our technical department.
② In this Chart,the water value Pb=0.6+1.0MPa, and theT=104℃ .
