The reason why I chose to analysis this music video is because I really like the song and the story

line alongside it, the video has a very unique story, but also I like how basic the flming has been

as there is nothing very expensive that has been used to flm this video; fnally In my fnal music

video I eel as though there would be part o the video I would interrupt in my own way I came

across this track on !ouTube as it was a suggestion to other music videos I was listening to at the

time; however I have heard the song beore this "s this song is by #abrielle "plin; and the song

title $please don%t say you love me%, already hinted to me that it would have a nice storyline abouta girl and a boy that would have a happy ending so the main in&uence to the context was the title

o the song and the artist In an indie olk'pop there are a number o things they include, such as

vintage eel; as in this video they are in a vintage car but also the setting and location as it is in

the country side I eel that in the music video the only way that this video could depart rom its

genre is when the artist is singing, in order to make it ft the genre more instruments could be

used ' perormance o the song I eel that this song is aimed at young adults and both men and

women, this is because $real love% is when you are older thereore young adults but both men and

women can relate to the lyrics (owever I eel it was mainly aimed at girls to the artist as I do not

eel as i she would have many boy ollowers I guess that this song suggests that I am someone

that can be quite sensitive and maybe someone who doesn%t quite know what they want, but at

the same time ollows their heart This text doesn%t really have that much relevance to me

however I can relate to some o the lyrics This video takes or granted that you will be able to

The reason why I chose to analysis this music video by 9odaline is because I eel that the video

was di?erent and unique to ones that I have previously watched; also the story line alongside it

The main di?erence o this video compared to others that I have previously looked at, is that the

screen has been split in hal throughout the ma)ority o the video this then allows us the look at

both lie%s o the characters in the video until they fnally meet at the end hence it being called

$The one% I came across this track on !ouTube as it was a suggestion to other music videos I was

listening to at the time; however I have heard the song beore this, but I have never watch it

beore and it was not what I expected it to be "s the song title was $The 2ne% I was already

expecting that it would be about a man and women fnding each other and them being the right

one or each other, however I wasn%t expecting it to be ater so long "s this is an indie pop there

are a number o things they include, such as vintage eel; but the pop side is a happy ending along

with a pretty boy and girl Indie pop also includes things such as bright colour and distinctive

clothing to the indie genre fnally the setting and location as it is in the country side and rural area

I don%t eel that in the music video there is anything that suggests that is not an indie pop video

other than the slow start to the song I eel that this song is aimed at young adults and both men

The reason why I chose to analysis this music video by Tom 2dell is because that it had a nice

setting but also it was di?erent as it used young people in the video rather than adults I also

liked the act that it linked back to Tom on the piano as I eel that it made the video more person

as he was singing the lyrics can was almost like he was telling the story but as he was it was

showing you &ash backs o the story The main di?erence o this video compared to others that Ihave previously looked at is the setting as it is based around children the location o the fling is

in playgrounds and bedrooms; which is typical o children (owever it still has been flmed in a
