What is the difference between developed and developing countries and why ?

Developing and developed countries

What does developing countries mean?It means that the country is still developing in

other words it is poor.

What does developed countries mean?It’s the opposite of developing countries and it

means that the country is already developed or in other words wealthy.

How do you know the difference between them?

• developing countries:Developing countries have high birth rates because:- Many parents will have a lot of children in the

expectation that some will die because of the high infant mortality rate

- Dirty, unreliable water supplies - Poor housing conditions - Poor access to medical services

• Developed countries:Developed countries have low birth rates because:- It is expensive to look after large families - Good housing conditions - Safe water supplies - More than enough food to eat
