4-H Citizenship/Community Service

“Citizenship” is having a concern about something that affects your community, and doing something about it.

“Community Service” is doing something, as an individual or as a group, to help your community (i.e., school, church, neighborhood, town, etc.).

• No more than 3 pages of pictures.

• Attach securely.

• Briefly explain each picture with a caption.

• Do not write a separate story, unless called for in project.

• Insert project photo’s directly after record sheet (label photo’s with brief caption).

News Clippings• It’s not necessary to have all of these, but you

should have at least one.• Letters from Agents, Leaders, other adults.• Event programs.• Newsletter/news paper clippings showing your

name, highlighted in red.• Certificates from 4-H, school, church, etc.• DO NOT INCLUDE RIBBONS, MEDALS,

ETC.
