integrated course submissions.

UC ARTICULATION CONFERENCE

What is an integrated course?Integrated courses blend the content and skills from both:

•Career Technical Education (CTE) sectors.

A successful integrated course includes:

•The vocabulary of both disciplines

•Authentic, logical integration

•Evidence of rigor

UC ARTICULATION CONFERENCE

Quick Review of Course Submission Form

•The unit summary should describe the content and skills

students learn.

• This description should highlight the actual work of the

course; do not simply list content standards the course

aligns with.

UC ARTICULATION CONFERENCE

Remember, you are looking for

1. The vocabulary of both disciplines2. Authentic, logical integration of the content areas3. Evidence of rigor - texts and assignments are

clearly challenging

• Each summary should include a brief description of that

product as well as its parameters and purpose.
