Reaction of Vinylphenols by Using a Sacrificial Alcohol as the Hydride Source. — The reaction uses primary, secondary, and tertiary alcohols as nucleophiles and sec-phenethyl alcohol at relatively low concentrations as the sacrificial alcohol.
