  ii DEVELOPMENT OF SMART DELIVERY SYSTEM Under the guidance of Dr. N. Sundarambal This project entitled “SMART DELIVERY SYSTEM” is a mini project which focuses on automating the conveyor system which is widely used in various industries. The automation is done in terms of counting the number of objects which passes through the conveyor system and then identifying the various color codes present on the product for identifying them. The counting section comprises of an object detection circuit, a counter block and a display unit. The object detection circuit used here is a phototransistor which identifies the presence of an object based on the illumination of light. The output of this circuit is fed as a clock signal to counter block which counts the number of objects passed through the system. The counted number is then displayed with the aid of a seven segment display. The color detection section has an IR emitter and detection circuit which is used to find the presence of black color object code. On the complementary, white color can also be sensed. If color sensors are being used then we can extend the same principle to all the other colors.

    This project entitled SMART DELIVERY SYSTEM is a mini project which

    focuses on automating the conveyor system which is widely used in various industries.

    The automation is done in terms of counting the number of objects which passes

    through the conveyor system and then identifying the various color codes present on the

    product for identifying them.
