Stakeholder reference panels• 4 panels made up of community members & experts to provide advice to the department
on certain issues ie. water purchasing, irrigation efficiency, environmental watering
Regional contacts• People to handle queries from regional areas, provides a consistent point of contact who
can either deal with queries directly or forward queries to relevant areas
Consultations• Asking selected stakeholders for assistance in policy and program development eg. the
preparation of program guidelines
Briefings• Meetings to inform people about new programs
