The College was founded in the year 1964.
The College now has 7 UG and 6 PG (Aided), 12 UG and 11 PG (Self- Supporting) programmes The Campus spread over 25 acres of land spacious and green provides an ambience conducive for higher learning. In the past four decades , the college has seen tremendous growth in its infrastructure and now in the threshold of a massive expansion The college has a dedicated Green initiative team and supports various initiatives for the incorporation of Renewable Energy in the campus.

1 Maintenance cost is worked out at 30% of the System cost including replacement of Inverters in next 20 years. 2 Units generated is calculated at 5 units per day per KW for 10 months in a year. 3 Generation for next 20 years is taken with 10% decrease of output over the years.
