students and faculty, a warm welcome to you all to the decennial celebrations of Dhanekula Instt. of Engg.

    and Tech.

With global standards, Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 2009

…aims at cultivating a learner centered teaching environment imparting engineering education.

And I deem it my privilege to announce that this institute sustains the same spirit for the last ten years –

with a vision of ‘Pioneering Professional Education through Quality’.

I revere the moments of our first anniversary – the zeal to Provide an opportunity to the average citizen of

India at an affordable cost and the passion to cultivate skill based learning competing with the national and

    international institutions.

    Accreditation

Today Dhanekula Institute of Engineering & Technology is accredited with NAAC. B.Tech Programs in

Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Electronics &

Communication Engineering courses were accredited by National Board of Accreditation. We were

confident that Computer Science and Engineering shall get accredited shortly.

Started with four courses in engineering with an intake of 240 for the year 2009-10 and today we are with

    804 intake among all courses.

Present running courses in the institution were

(B.Tech in CE, ME, EEE, ECE & CSE – 540,

    New Courses-Up Coming Year

For the upcoming academic year, Additional Section of 60 in ECE, one new course in UG level-

Information Technology – 60, , Two in PG level M.Tech in Automobile Engineering & Environmental

Engineering, were applied for approval from AICTE.

  • Infrastructure, staff and students are the major assets of the college promoting the values with which the

    institution was established.

Infrastructure: Today we have about 4,00,000 sqaure feet of built up area and every sqft in the campus is

occupied today out of which 3,25,000 sqft is being used for instructional purpose, 65,000 sqft is being used

for hostels and others. 100 KLD Sewage treatment plant and 1000 lit/hr RO water treatment plant for

drinking water and sufficient play area for outdoor and indoor games.

233 Kw solar plant is established in the current year costed 86,00,000/- excluding subsidy from the

    NEDCAP.

Management started constructing new floor on the existing main building for built up area of 70,000 sqft

with a budget of Rs 8 crores.

Discipline and punctuality were on the top priority with a mission to produce proficient, qualified and

socially responsible engineering personnel required to face the challenges of the country.

We strongly believe that along with the regular curriculum and skill development programs, Co-curricular

and sporting activities enhance the overall personality development of students and even bring a positive

impact on academic performance of students.

Curriculum learning is not limited to class room learning or teaching it is strengthened by

    Industrial Visits

We take up Industrial visits as part of curriculum to create real time exposure of industry process

and environment, about 28 industrial visits were conducted in the current academic year till now

for undergraduate engineering students and were in 2426 students visited industries like Dr.Narla

    Skilling India

Skill development has been considered one of the critical aspects for job. India has unique

demographic advantage with more than 60% of the population is in young age group. But in order

to get dividend from such large work force, employability has to be improved. As per the Current
