In 1916, Junichi Morita started to import products of the leading dental equipment manufacturers into Japan, where demands for modern dentistry were growing. His venturesome attempts of supplying selected products for oral healthcare has grown steadily by receiving valuable support and guidance from the dental profes-sion. His enterprising spirit lives through the decades, and all Morita Group Companies join in continuing to pursue marketing, distribution and services, as well as R&D and manufacturing, in collaboration with world leaders in healthcare products and research organizations.

    Well-balanced – ergonomic perfection

With their unique design, the TwinPower Plus systems form a perfect balance of efficiency and user-friendliness. Light, compact, conveni-ent, handy – in a word: ergonomic perfection.

    Comfortable even during extensive use

The compact and light weight design of TwinPower Plus turbines is extremely convenient to work with – even during extensive use over several hours. Weighing only 50 grams, weight stress on the hand and fingers is significantly reduced.

    Ideally angled

The practical 15° angled handpiece enables you to easily ma-neuver around the various areas of the teeth. It is also perfectly angled to line up the bur shaft with the tooth axis.

New grip design and surface treatment

TwinPower Plus systems feature a newly designed grip, enabling tighter hold of the handpiece. The new special ceramic surface treatment offers up to 30% more friction force while also im-proving system durability for autoclave sterilization.

  • Zero suck back

    1. Drive air flows into an Anti Suck Back Diffuser (ASBD) within the capsule. Air in the ASBD is pressurized through centrifugal force created by the impeller rotation.

    2. Through the centrifugal force and rotation of the impeller, air continues to flow into the ASBD and remains pressurized even after drive air is stopped.

    Zero suck back

    through innovative fluid dynamics

    3. The pressurized air in the ASBD is released to the outside at the bottom of the head.

    4. Exhaust air is also directed over the ASBD through rotation and released at bottom of the head.

    5. The pressurized air in the ASBD prevents depressurization in the head, thus enabling true zero suck back.

Rapid braking poses a par- ticular challenge for ball bearing turbines. Thanks to the unique rubber brake ring of the TwinPower Plus quick-stop system, it is now possible to rapidly stop the turbine in merely 2 seconds – allowing for safer and more efficient preparation.

During rotation, the uniquely designed rubber brake ring of the quick-stop system is pulled away from the tur-bine axis

During braking, the rubber brake ring rubs against the turbine axis, stopping it signi-ficantly faster

  • Truly unique:

    The TwinPower Plus double-impeller technology

TwinPower Plus turbines feature the all new double-impeller technology – a truly unique

    TwinPower Plus system principle:

The air from the drive air nozzles ( 1 ) powers the primary im-peller ( 2 ). The exhaust air is directed through fixed fins ( 3 ) to power the second impeller ( 4 ). The result is a more powerful constant torque and stable speed, even under load.

    1 Three drive air nozzles

    2 Primary impeller

3 Fixed fins to direct the exhaust air

    4 Secondary impeller

    Greater precision through more torque

The unique double-impeller technology offers more continuous torque – up to 50% more – and improved torque stability, even under high-load conditions. The consistent cutting power allows you to prepare with far greater precision.

    Quiet operation

Advanced fluid dynamics reduces high-pitch noise typically found in turbines in the 6 kHz to 7 kHz range. The result is a quiet and pleasant experience for both dental team and patients.

    Extremely powerful

Thanks to the double-impeller technology, the turbines of the TwinPower Plus PAR-4HX series are extremely powerful (up to 25 W). Even the small head system, the TwinPower Plus PAR-4HEX, delivers 22 W of preparation power.

  • Extremely powerful, continnous torque

Continuous balanced high torque is very important for smooth tooth preparation. The unique design of the TwinPower Plus rotor enables continuous balanced torque with almost no vibra-tion, making for a smooth and stable preparation.

    TwinPower Plus rotor

Thanks to its double-impeller technology, the TwinPower Plus turbine rotor features 36 blades. The blades are powered by three drive air nozzles. Even when the blade angle changes, the drive air continues to be cap-tured by many blades, thus creating virtually no vibration.

    Conventional rotor

Conventional turbine rotors are typically equipped with 8 blades and 1 drive air nozzle. Depending on the angle of the blade, the drive air is not directly captured by the blade, thus resulting in weak torque phases.

    State-of-the-art preparation

Featuring a push-button chuck which can be selected to perfectly fit your treatment unit, the turbine of the TwinPower Plus series defines the cutting edge of modern engineer-ing in terms of utility and intelligent design. This finds expression in practically every detail, including such features as the advan-ced quick-stop system, radial air bypass and glass rod light.

    Push-button chuck

Another unique feature: the push button chuck. Simple to ope-rate, this high-precision function ensures safe attachment to the preparation instrument while providing high-level durability for heavy-load applications.

    Easy cartridge replacement

When required, the capsule-type cartridge rotor allows for easy exchange.

Chuck part is made of metal

    1 Rapid Stop Brake Ring

For enhanced preparation safety and patient comfort, the TwinPower Plus series features a unique quick-stop brake ring. This feature reduces the risk of contaminated aerosol suck-back flow and prolongs the life-span of bearings.

    2 Radial air by-pass

Unique and new: the air is dispersed sideward to minimize the patient discomfort resulting from vertical cold air stream on the preparation spot.

    3 Ceramic ball bearings

These bearings are 40% lighter and 3 times harder than con-ventional bearings, offering smooth rotation and high durabili-ty to withstand numerous sterilization cycles in the autoclave (135º C).

    4 Glass rod light

Autoclave tested optical glass rod light guides for stable brightness (25,000 LUX).
