Hi Kane,
There are few points to consider.
There would never be an end to the word “wait for a better and faster deal” in case of
computers.
Even when you get Core i7 based MACs, there would be talks that Core i9 may be jus
around the corner.
So, yeah, no doubt, apple is known to use memory performance of a computer better th
Microsoft products, so certainly we can expect Apple OS X using the QPI at its best.
Then again, if you are in need of a computer, then buy it, no point of waiting for a fast
deal as there would be no end of it. However, incase you have options, like its an upgr
or second PC or such, in that case I advise to wait for the Core i7 based MACs.
