NIFTY(National stock exchange for fifty)

• NIFTY is a benchmark index of NSE• It is managed by India Index Services and Products Ltd. and CRISIL• It consists of 50 stocks out of 1659 stocks of NSE• NIFTY was constructed in the mid of 1990• It is valued on the basis of free float capitalization method using base

as 1000 • It takes 1995 as the base year• It is situated at Delhi
