This is something that I haven’t discovered at any of the other institutions in which I’ve studied.” GREG LUCE, ViOLiST, AEOLUS QUARTET, GRADUATE STRiNG QUARTET fELLOWSHiP (2014) “This school really lets us know about the many paths you can take beyond the orchestral jobs that everyone wants.” DAViD DiCKEY , BM OBOE AND BA VOiCE (2014) “The big question was if I wanted to go to a state school or a conservatory. I’m glad I came to a state school. There is a conservatory feeling within the UMD School of Music. But, we also take classes across campus, which gets you out and about.
