  • 1. SensorsA sensor (also called detector) is a converter thatmeasures a physical quantity and converts it into asignal which can be read by an observer or by an (todaymostly electronic) instrument. For example, a mercury-in-glass thermometer convertsthe measuredtemperature into expansion and contraction of a liquidwhich can be read on a calibrated glass tube. Athermocouple converts temperature to an output voltagewhich can be read by a voltmeter. For accuracy, mostsensors are calibrated against known standards.

Featutes of Digital Thermocouple All solid state design High stability Wide temperature range Cold junction compensation Easy to read LCD display One conventional 9V battery Long battery life Interchangeable thermocouple sensor Includes a general purpose thermocouple 5. Differential Pressure Transducer Differential pressure is the difference in pressure between twopoints. SDP600 Series - These are electronics sensors which areused to measure differential pressure. They measure thepressure of air and non-aggressive gases. Principle of SDP600 Sensors - MOSens sensortechnology, which combines the sensor element, signalprocessingand digital calibration on a tiny microchip. Thedifferentialpressure is measured by a thermal sensor elementusingflow-through technology. Range - pressure range of up to 500 Pa 6.
