This is the new identity of André Herman Düne, original member of the Herman Düne trio. A consistent and exciting songwriter, his Stanley B material is simple, amusing and intelligent with nods towards Trinidadian Calypso and Jonathan Richman. He also recorded and played shows in Europe, the UK and the US under various other names: Ben Dope, Ben Haschish, Klaus Bong, John Trawling, John Andreas, Lord Stanislas... Now based in Berlin, he’s mostly recording and playing as a solo act.
Esta es la nueva identidad de André Herman Düne, miembro original del trío Herman Düne. Un compositor constante y apasionante, su material Stanley B es simple, divertido e inteligente y lleva hacia Trinidad Calypso y Jonathan Richman. This great little theatre show is traveling the island over the next few months and is worth a visit by both children & adults. alike. A show, that rather than move into the realms of cirque nouveau, sticks with the traditional circus theme. From the very beginning this team makes you feel welcome with a free cup of cider whilst guiding you through to your seats. They only have one animal, the family pet poodle performing, which is good to see. The acts are what you would expect to find in the circus of 20 or 30 years ago with clowns, juggling, hula hoop & mime, all mixed with a good amount of humor.
Este pequeño gran teatro actuará por la isla los siguientes meses y vale la pena ir a verlo, niños y adultos por igual. Un espectáculo, que más que estar dentro del mundo del circo Nouveau, permanece dentro del circo tradicional. Desde el principio este equipo hace que te sientas bienvenido con una copa de sidra gratuita mientras te llevan a tu asiento. Solo tienen un animal, la actuación del caniche de la familia, interesante de ver. Los actos son los que imaginas que podrás encontrar en el circo de hace 20 o 30 años con payasos, malabaristas, hula hop y mimos, todo mezclado con buenas cantidades de humor.

Barroco bar has a unique feel about it, with a cosy bar and lounge area it is the ideal place to come and meet friends old and new and admire some great art from talent around the island. This month they are showcasing the work of Mandy Racine with a group of paintings that incorporate something of the ‘aged / antiqued’ look. These unique works include the use of collage and metal leaf that give a warm blend between old and modern styles.

paLMa aQuaRiuM MooD BeaChThis was a project that began as a solo endeavor in 1995 as the work of Barzin Hosseini. But somewhere along the way it shed its solitary skin and introduced a wide array of characters into its sound with three individuals slowly becoming a fixture of this project. The three extras in question are Mike Findlay, Suzanne Hancock, and Tony Dekker. With their inclusion the sound of the music has continued to remain true to the esthetics of quietness and minimalism. It still concerns itself with exploring the quiet side of pop.
Fue un proyecto que empezó como un intento en solitario en 1995 bajo el nombre de Barzin Hosseini. Pero en alguna parte a lo largo del camino mudó su piel e introdujo una gran selección de personajes en su sonido haciéndose con tres individuos que se fueron convirtiendo poco a poco en una parte integrante de su proyecto. Los tres extras en cuestión son Mike Findlay, Suzanne Hancock y Tony Dekker. Con sus inclusiones el sonido de la música ha permanecido fiel a la estética de tranquilidad y el minimalismo. Sigue interesándole explorar la parte tranquila del pop.

paLMa aQuaRiuM MooD BeaChThis was a project that began as a solo endeavor in 1995 as the work of Barzin Hosseini. But somewhere along the way it shed its solitary skin and introduced a wide array of characters into its sound with three individuals slowly becoming a fixture of this project. The three extras in question are Mike Findlay, Suzanne Hancock, and Tony Dekker. With their inclusion the sound of the music has continued to remain true to the esthetics of quietness and minimalism. It still concerns itself with exploring the quiet side of pop.
Fue un proyecto que empezó como un intento en solitario en 1995 bajo el nombre de Barzin Hosseini. Pero en alguna parte a lo largo del camino mudó su piel e introdujo una gran selección de personajes en su sonido haciéndose con tres individuos que se fueron convirtiendo poco a poco en una parte integrante de su proyecto. Los tres extras en cuestión son Mike Findlay, Suzanne Hancock y Tony Dekker. Con sus inclusiones el sonido de la música ha permanecido fiel a la estética de tranquilidad y el minimalismo. Sigue interesándole explorar la parte tranquila del pop.

The Easter Fair in Palma, Fira del Ram is one of the highlights of the year for kids of all ages. This is not just your average travelling fair; this is much bigger and better. Packed with all sorts of classic and new rides plus a selection of tombolas, bingo and prize draws with all sorts of great prizes to suit everyone. We actually saw someone walk of with two electric scooters last year! There are dodgems, wild mouse rides, ones that spin you upside down and ones that make you weightless, but rest assured the ride on the big wheel might look scary but once on it is exactly the opposite, a sedate ride with a fantastic view, day or night. Don’t miss the food stalls which have all types of food on offer including pa amb olis, freshly cooked pinchos and of course the obligatory burgers, toffee apples and candy floss. This is a family outing guaranteed to please all of the family either for a pleasant afternoons or evenings entertainment. You can’t miss it, just take the Inca exit from the Via Cintura in Palma and look to your left!.
La feria de Pascua en Palma, la Fira del Ram es una de las más destacadas durante todo el año para los niños de todas las edades. Ésta no es una típica feria ambulante, es mucho más grande y mucho mejor. Repleta de todo tipo de atracciones, clásicas y nuevas, además de una selección de tómbolas, bingos y sorteos con premios con todo tipo de regalos adaptados para cada uno. De hecho, el año pasado vimos a alguien caminar con dos scooters eléctricas! Hay coches de choque, montañas rusas, unas van de arriba abajo y otras hacen que llegues a la ingravidez. Aunque tenéis que saber que un paseo por la noria, de primeras puede asustar, pero una vez arriba sentirás lo contrario, es un paseo tranquilo con fantásticas vistas, por el día o por la noche. Tampoco puedes perderte los puestos de comida, encontrarás pa amb olis, pinchos y sobretodo, las obligadas hamburguesas, manzanas de caramelo y algodones de azúcar. Es una excursión garantizada para satisfacer a toda la familia para pasar una tarde agradable o una noche de diversión. No te lo puedes perder, coge la salida de Inca desde la Vía de Cintura en Palma y la verás a tu izquierda!
