The Front cover portrays the star image in pop. The audience is able to see Long shot so that the convention of pop artists could be established. The celebrity, Chris Brownwearing a black skinny outfit with long boats connotes his appealing personality. His black leather jacket makes him look attractive along with the black googles. The Low-Angle used to capture Chris Brown denotates his higher authority and him being superior over the other creatures.

Graphical Elements have been used to illustrate the background. The use of graphical implementation on the front cover has made the digipak seem more striking to the viewer’s eys. This image connotes a feel of solar eclipse where the moon has been covered by the sun due which the audience is able to see the glare effect. However, the moon has been covered with darkness from the right and left side which depicts a type of a vintage effect. The shiny yellowish effect is in contrast with the black outfit of the star which makes the viewer’s closely observe the image at first.

This image breaks the conventions as the srtist name is Not mentiononed on the front cover of the dgipak. The font used for the album name connotes a signature type style, thus more eye-catching for the audience.

These creatures represent the luny tunes characters. If we observe the image closely, it shows that the creatures exsisting in the world merely have no value infront of the start image. They are of lower lower importance as the artist infront of them looks like an authoritative personality.

Chris Brown is holding the guitar in a unique manner. The silverish effect on his guitar gives it a steel effect. Thus, enhancing the pop star’s image.

The back cover of the digipak has the track list printed on it. The font used is different from that of the album name, “Graffiti”. At the first glance, the font seems like a bit clusstered but if the audience reads the tracks closely, then it will be read-able.

However, the colour scheme of the back cover breaks the conventions of digipaks.. The back cover is totally different from the front image. The yellowish effect on the front is totally transormed into the blue one at the back of the cover. The image’s upper side is a bit dark blue and then merges into light below at the bottom.

The audience is able to see the star in a different get up on the back side of the digipak. The image shows as if the artist is wearing an eye mask along with gloves, a white T-shirt with a bow on it. It seems like he’s in a glass which makes the audience think as if he has occupied himself in a closed glass room.

The barcode information is printed on the backside of the digipak which is present on all digipaks. Thethin and thick differentiates this digibak from the others and helps to keep record of large amounts of digipaks. It follows the codes and the conventions as there is a copyright statement at the back of the digipak which prevents it to be copied.

It is quite visible overhere, that the compact disc (CD) of the digipak has breaken the conventions of being consistent. The cd’s colour scehem is totally different from that of the front and the back cover, maybe to avoid the monotonous feel. The green colour portrays a feel of peace and smoothness. The viewer’s due to the variation in colour schemes of the digipak will not feel alienated as the cd, because of its balck and green contrast develops an interesting mood for the viewer’s.

However, the font of the album name has been kept consistent to give a realistic feel. But the colour of the font has been coverted into Black to give a bold effect.

The star image printed on the cd is the same as it was on the front cover. The only difference is that the artist’s image is appearing in a shodowy effect here due to which the audience is able to see the star’s outline of the bvody holding a guitar and the mic, but not his real colours. Thus, giving a special mysterious feel.

Page 6: Digipak Analysis

The inside of the digipak of “Graffitie” portrays the dark side of the album. This colour scheme has been kept consistent as the black colour connotes darkness, pressure or maybe a mysterious feel regarding the artsist.

This silver semi-circle have different shades in it.

The inlay of the digipak has the same background as it was present on the front cover. The difference highlighted in the inlay is the name of the artist. “Chris Brown” the artist’s name has been printed vertically on the inlay. The font here has been kept consistent; the same font have been used which was used for the album name, “Graffiti”. However, “2 CD DELUXE” is written in a different font in order to highlight its importance.

The cartoon character shown here, is different from the other creatures. This seems like a type of a robot but with negitive facial expressions.
