Page 4: Digipak Analysis – Fitz And The Tantrums

Simplistic, plain and mysterious background, sepia effect which links in well with indie genre conventions

Bold image which stands out above everything else, this heart is featured frequently across the album covers and online versions

Simple colour scheme consisting of three colours. Pink as prominent, black/grey as secondary, and white as tertiary

The title is in a small, plain font which doesn’t take away attention from the main image which is the heart, having a white font on a dark background is typical of the indie pop genre.

The font on the back follows the codes and conventions by having the same font and colour of font for the writing on the back of the cover, as well as having a white barcode

The CD is very simplistic with a simple black and pink design, with just the name of the band in a small font and the main bold image (the heart)

Record labels (Dangerbird and Elektra) are in a simplistic white colour on the bottom of the back page of the digipak

Synergy of the heart shape between the CD and the Digipak cover

Woodland/Trees are very typical of Indie pop music and music videos

Barcode is relatively fitting with the colour scheme although it stands out which it should so it is clear when people buy it

Song list is all in white in the exact same font and colour as the rest of the writing, including the small print, the title and the logo for the production company
